Rena Sofer: "I'm so proud of the work that we did together"

As Rena Sofer's run as Quinn on CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful comes to an end, she shares some heartfelt words for her leading man and the fans who have supported the soap couple for the past two years.

As Soap Central previously reported, Rena Sofer has exited the role of Quinn Fuller on The Bold and the Beautiful. It's a role she's played for nearly a decade. Even though the decision to leave was Sofer's, it was still difficult to say goodbye to her castmates.

In Sofer's final video from the CBS Studios, she talks about Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) and the love she has for him. After she mentions that it is her last day on the show, an announcement comes on the overhead speaker, which she laughs about, saying it was proof that she was indeed at the CBS studio. Sofer goes on to show a two-piece gift that she created for Saint-Victor that "symbolizes us." The gift is a woman in gold and silver that she describes as having "motion and grooves and body and power, and she's chiseled... because Lawrence is chiseled." One the back are two hearts "for the love that Quinn and Carter had for each other."

Sofer also reflects about the time she and Denise Richards told Saint-Victor that he was a leading man and that he needed to believe it. She goes on to say how proud she is of him and the work they created together. In her Instagram post, she also thanks fans for the support they showed her for the nine years that she played Quinn.

After seeing Sofer's video, Saint-Victor replied, "Words can't describe how deeply moved I am. Thank you so much for the wonderful gift. Which I believe is a physical manifestation of not just Carter and Quinn, but the bond we've formed. Quarter worked so well because we knew we had each other's backs. Anytime I felt frustrated or uncomfortable, all I had to do was look into your eyes before they called action, and there it was endless support and safety. It has been an absolute honor working with you, I cherish every single moment we've had. I love you, Rena."
