Rena Sofer has made the decision to leave her role as The Bold and the Beautiful's Quinn Fuller. Find out when she'll last air and why she chose to walk away from the CBS soap.
The Bold and the Beautiful star Rena Sofer devastated fans today with the announcement that she'll no longer be playing the role of Quinn Fuller.
The actress shared the news with Soap Opera Digest, revealing that she's been ready to leave for a while.
"Now is my time to see what's out there for me," she shares. "I had already decided this was going to be my last contract, but when they finished the story of Quinn and Carter [Lawrence Saint-Victor] coming together, it seemed like the right time."

Sofer is, of course, referring to the massively popular storyline in which Quinn began secretly dating Carter in 2021. The pairing immediately won over fans, with the couple earning the fun nickname "Quarter." Unfortunately, there were a lot of complications -- mainly the fact that Quinn was married to Eric (John McCook), who had been unable to satisfy his wife's intimacy needs because he was suffering from erectile dysfunction. When Eric found out about Quinn and Carter's affair, he made the surprising decision to allow the two to carry on seeing each other, but the storyline was a bit much for some fans to handle, and it eventually petered out, just like Quinn and Carter's relationship.
Rumors of Sofer's exit first started on Tuesday, when the actress posted a photo of flowers along with the caption, "August 5 was a very big day for me. More to come..."
She later posted a thank you to fans and shared more about her B&B exit. "I know it's heartbreaking for some and it is for me as well, but it's time for me to move on with both my acting career and my pottery career," she wrote. "Thank you all for your support over the last 9 years and in the future!"
Sofer joined B&B in 2013, at which point she had already established herself as a daytime favorite. Her first soap role was the short-lived 1987 character Joyce Abernathy on Another World, which she followed up with the role of Rocky McKenzie on Loving from 1988 to 1991. Sofer then went on to star as General Hospital's Lois Cerullo from 1993 to 1997.
In addition to her soap roles, Sofer's credits include series like Blind Justice, Heroes, 24, Bones, NCIS, Once Upon a Time, Chicago P.D., Friends, Spin City, Ellen, and Seinfeld.
