The Bold and the Beautiful is ready for its nighttime closeup. Beginning next month, the CBS soap will air same-day rebroadcasts of that day's episode.
If you're a fan of The Bold and the Beautiful and, for one reason or another, you've ever missed an episode of the show, you know that your options for catching that episode again have been limited. A new licensing deal will soon offer fans another viewing option: evening broadcasts.
Beginning December 2 at 6:30 PM ET/PT, fans can tune in to TVGN for same-day repeat broadcasts of that day's episode. So if you miss the daytime airing because of a news interruption or DVR malfunction, you'll have a chance to watch later in the day on the TVGN channel.
"I am looking forward to a successful partnership with TVGN," said Bradley Bell, Executive Producer/Head Writer in a statement. "Our fans have asked us for an opportunity to watch a second run. I'm delighted that we will now be able to fulfill that desire with such an esteemed cable network."

"The Bold and the Beautiful has been one of the most popular daytime dramas on television for more than two decades and now, for the first time ever, the series will be making its cable TV debut, giving loyal viewers more opportunities to catch up on their favorite show," TVGN's Entertainment and Media President Brad Schwartz added.
If you prefer to watch your B&B episodes all at once, beginning Sunday, December 8, TVGN will air a five-episode marathon of the previous week's episodes in one "binge watching" block.
TVGN also broadcasts same-day repeats of The Young and the Restless immediately afterward at 7:00pm ET/PT. Schwartz said Y&R repeats have made TVGN "one of the top female networks in the country."
Fans have been wondering for years why same-day repeats of B&B were not available on the 24-hour cable soap channel, SOAPnet. That channel is set to go off the air for good on December 31, 2013. Meanwhile, the TVGN broadcasts come as a result of a deal reached earlier this year in which CBS purchased a 50% stake in TVGN (formerly the TV Guide Network). Lionsgate owns the other half. TVGN is available in more than 80 million homes.
Comprehensive daily recaps of each episode will also remain available here on Soap Central. If you need a little more in the way of the history of the show, we've archived our recaps all the way back to 1996, so catching up is a cinch. Episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful will also continue to be available on CBS.com.
