One Life to Live alum Blair Underwood (ex-Bobby Blue) and All My Children alum Cornelius Smith Jr. (ex-Frankie Hubbard) have signed on to the Netflix series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker, an inspiring drama based on the true story of black millionairess Sarah Breedlove.

ABC Daytime fans won't want to miss the March debut of the much-anticipated Netflix series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker, as it stars both One Life to Live alum Blair Underwood (ex-Bobby Blue) and All My Children alum Cornelius Smith Jr. (ex-Frankie Hubbard) opposite notable stars like Octavia Spencer and Kevin Carroll.

Based on the biography On Her Own Ground by A'Lelia Bundles, Self Made tells "the untold and highly irreverent story of black hair care pioneer and mogul Madam C.J. Walker and how she overcame hostile turn-of-the-century America, epic rivalries, tumultuous marriages and some trifling family to become America's first black, self-made female millionaire."

As laid out by Bundles, Walker's great-great-granddaughter, Walker overcame post-slavery racial and gender biases, personal betrayals, and business rivalries to build a groundbreaking brand that revolutionized black haircare, as she simultaneously fought for social change.

Set for release on March 20, the four-part limited Netflix series also stars Tiffany Haddish, Garrett Morris, Carmen Ejogo, Bill Bellamy, and Mouna Traore. Producers include basketball legend LeBron James. For the first-look images of Octavia Spencer in the role of Sarah Breedlove, known as Madam C.J. Walker, check out Deadline's article here.

Blair Underwood starred as OLTL's Bobby Blue in the mid 1980s, which led to roles in series like L.A. Law, 21 Jump Street, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Dirty Sexy Money, Quantico, When They See Us, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Some of his film credits include Set It Off, Deep Impact, Gattaca, and The After Party.

Cornelius Smith Jr. played the role of AMC's Frankie Hubbard from 2007 to 2011, earning a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for his work on the ABC soap in 2009. He went on to make a name for himself in primetime playing the role of Marcus Walker on Scandal.
