SHOW DATE: January 24, 2014 at 6pm ET/3pm PT.

Rib Hillis was an original cast member of the General Hospital spinoff Port Charles long before the show introduced its vampire storylines. Now, in addition to being one of the sexy garbagemen in a new Hefty commercial, Rib and his wife, ballroom dance champion and Dancing With the Stars vet Elena Grinenko, have opened their own dance studio in Los Angeles, called LA Ballroom Studio.

How did Rib go from model to actor to dancer? And just how rigorous is the schedule of a reality television series? Find out on Soap Central Live.

Then, much has been made about the Internet being a place for the reinvention of the soap opera, but much of that discussion has been about video-based web series. Jake Biondi visits SCL to discuss, Boystown, a written series that tells the continuing story of several couples living in Chicago's famed Boystown neighborhood.

Join in the discussion, live at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific for an hour of anything and everything soap. To be part of the show, call our toll-free caller line at 866.472.5788
