David Fumero (ex-Cristian Vega, One Life to Live) reveals that he recently had his fourth cervical disc replacement: "I'm closer to becoming Wolverine!"

Fans are sending well wishes to One Life to Live alum David Fumero (ex-Cristian Vega), who is keeping positive after a painful-sounding medical procedure.

The actor took to Instagram to reveal that he just completed his fourth cervical disc replacement, about which he jokes, "More metal in my body means I'm closer to becoming Wolverine! My ultimate motivator!"

Fumero goes on to thank his doctor, Todd Lanman, who he calls a savior for helping him get better and return to his regular routine.

"Looking forward to training and getting back to optimal conditioning. I wouldn't have that choice if it weren't for you," he praises. "I'm so blessed and lucky and grateful! Peeps, take care of your spine! And if you're dealing with any chronic issues make sure you look this guy up!"
