OLTL alum David Gregory lands role on NBC's The Night Shift

The season finale of NBC's The Night Shift will boast none other than One Life to Live alum David Gregory (ex-Robert Ford) in what appears to be quite an interesting role.

If you haven't tuned in to NBC's primetime drama, The Night Shift, now's the time to start, because the upcoming season finale episode will star One Life to Live alum David Gregory (ex-Robert Ford). Just don't be surprised if he doesn't look anything like you remember.

The actor, who starred on OLTL from 2009 to 2012, took to social media to announce his role on the popular series and shared a time-lapse video of him in the hair and makeup chair transforming into what looks to be a really nasty cadaver. But Gregory assures fans his character is "definitely conscious" and jokes that he even has "a twang," which he alludes to again with the hashtag "don't mess with Texas."

Part one of the two-part season finale of The Night Shift airs on Wednesday, August 24, and the second part -- in which Gregory stars -- airs the following Wednesday, August 31. Be sure to tune in and see if his character will survive to be part of the next season of the NBC series, or if this will be Gregory's one and only night shift...
