At the Cabin:
Blake sets down to finish her novel after putting the twins to bed. She took a turn in the novel where Armand decides that he truly loved his wife, Christina, not Clarissa. Of course the characters are mad at this and tell Blake that Armand would never want his frumpy old' wife back when he has been in love with Clarissa for over 10 chapters. Blake tells Armand that she is the author and will write what she wants. He tells her to tell Ross the truth and get it over with, so that she can go on writing the novel the way that it should be written.

At Tower's:
Ross is infuriated that Blake took the kids with her when she left town. He is bending Holly's ear about it, reading her the note from Blake saying that she had to have a break and she and the boys would be back in a few days. Holly tells Ross that he should know that the boys will be okay with Blake. He tells her that she is right and then suggests that they plan out Philadelphia. Just then "Joe" walks by. Ross stops him and begins asking where Blake is. He tells him that he has no idea. A girl comes in and kisses "Joe" on the cheek, this infuriates Ross. He notices that Joes life is complicated and wants to know why he is on a date with someone when Blake is 8 months pregnant with his kid. The girl wants to know what was up then. Finally Joe, says that it isn't his baby, and then tells him to talk to Blake. Ross is stunned. He goes to Holly and thinks what kind of person Joe could be to deny the baby.
Olivia comes in and tells Josh about the meeting being changed. Josh tells him that he moved out of his house. Olivia tells him that she is sorry and changes the subject to the menu. Olivia tells him that she thinks it is too soon to think about anything right now more than a business relationship and she is cool with that. They order dinner. Josh learns that Olivia can cook and bake. He thanks her for making the night nice and not awkward.

In San Cristobel:
Reva called Richard and tells him that she wants to talk to him. Richard tells her that it isn't a good time that he is busy. Reva informs him that she left Josh and Richard wants to know why she is telling him this. Richard tells her that it is too late for them, there is no longer anything to say between them and that he is sorry but it is over and he has moved on. Reva tells him that it isn't fair to marry Cassie when he still has feelings for her. She told him to come to Springfield to meet with her. She tells him goodbye and says that she will meet him there. Cassie comes in and sees Richard is upset , she asks him who was on the phone and he tells her. Cassie asks her what Reva wanted and Richard told her about the breakup and that she wants him in Springfield. Cassie asked when he was leaving but he told her that it was over with her and he would not go after her. They go back in the courtyard where Alan makes a toast to Richard, who turns and makes one to Cassie.
Cassie congratulates the happy engaged couple, Beth and Jim.
Meanwhile, Edmund watches the video of Phil and Beth's night of bliss. Phillip comes to his room with Harley willing to give Edmund that benefit of the doubt. He tells Edmund that he is grateful to him and would like to offer him a job at Spaulding. Edmund is confused because he thought he was being tried for treason. Phil told him that he talked to Richard, who agreed to this if he takes the job in Springfield. Edmund understood then and figures that Richard is exiling him instead of putting him on trial. Edmund agrees to the offer and Phil and Harley leave.
Phil and Harley come back with Edmund at their heels. Edmund announces that he wanted to toast the Spaulding's as well as his brother. Everyone drinks and gets ready for dinner.
Edmund talks to Alan about success. Alan leaves and Susan comes up and introduces herself. She explains her parentage and tells him that she wanted to introduce herself to him. He tells her that she can fill him in on all the Springfield gossip. They dance until Jim cuts in. Beth thanks Edmund for being so kind to Susan. She then thanks him for saving her life. She tells him that she is his immediate Supervisor now and she can be tough. She leaves, Jim comes over and tells Edmund that he knows the truth about him and that he will be watching him closely. Edmund feels smug that he has a secret to bring down the entire room, but doesn't know when or how he will use it yet.
Richard catches back up with Cassie and asks her if she is okay. She gives him his ring and tells him that she will not marry him if he still has feelings for Reva. He tells her that he doesn't want to be with Reva. She tells him that she wants him to go find out how he feels. He agrees to go, only if she goes with him, because they are a team now. He kisses her, puts her ring back on and tells her that they will be married when they get back. Cassie wonders if that day would ever come. Edmund congratulates Cassie and Richard on their engagement and thanks Richard for his second chance. Edmund makes his own private toast to "Sex, Lies and Videotape."

At the Lewis House:
Reva hangs up from Richard and the door bell rings. It's Olivia. She asks to talk to Josh and Reva tells her that Josh isn't there at the moment. Olivia leaves the message and begins to leave. Reva tells her that Josh has moved out. Olivia apologizes, saying she had no idea. Reva tells her that she knows that she has feelings for Josh and wants to make sure that she doesn't take advantage of Josh. Marah comes in and Olivia leaves.
Marah went to find her dad and told him that she wanted to move in with him but that he said she owes it to her mom to work things out. Reva tells her that she wants to get through these things and have them all be honest with each other. Marah asks her mom if she left Josh because she was still in love with Richard. Reva admits to her daughter that she does still have feelings for Richard but that they are nothing compared to her feelings for her family. Marah doesn't understand why Reva cant get away from Richard. Reva tells her that she needs to sort through her feelings for him. Marah wants her mom back, not what she has had. Just her mom. They hug. They laugh and cry and make up. Marah falls asleep on the couch.

At Tower's:
Carmen is dining with Maria. She is still blaming Michelle. Bill comes up wanting to talk to Pilar. Carmen tells him to leave her alone, that she is with her cousin, the priest. He says ok and mentions to her about his mom's accident. Carmen starts thinking about the possibilities that Vanessa could have been at Ben's.

At the Jail:
Danny and Michelle's Lawyer came in, obviously with a plan. Danny told Michelle that they needed to divorce so that she will have a better chance when her trial goes to court. She adamantly refuses and tells him that she loves him and cant lose him too. Danny reassures her that nothing will change between them, and they will remarry after she is let go. Michelle says no and talks to him about why. The Lawyer tells her that not only should they divorce but they should also start laying blame towards Danny since that will get her out of it and they would not be able to go after Danny because of lack of evidence. Michelle tells him no and he tells her that she will end up with a Death sentence if she didn't listen to him. He left. Michelle tells Danny that she had read up on some things and she can have Ross as her lawyer if she signs a waiver to no appeal. She wants Ross and Danny agrees that she should have him.

At the Hospital:
Matt and Rick look in on Vanessa. Matt is upset, Rick is trying some new medicine and Vanessa is silently thinking of how she killed Ben and Michelle is in trouble. She wishes she could tell Matt so he could help her. The guys left for a bite to eat and Carmen came in. She told Vanessa that Bill had told her about the accident and that she knows she was there. She wonders if she saw anything or if Ben told her anything. Vanessa responded by grabbing Carmen's hand.

At the Firehouse:
Buzz is trying to get Selena to do her exercises but she is feeling down and not wanting to work on them. She tells him that she is tired, but he doesn't buy it. Drew and Jesse come by and cheer them up with Christmas cookies. Buzz kicks them out so that they can get back to work. Selena still didn't want to work so she grabs him and kisses him to get his mind off of it. Buzz kisses her back and reaches to pick her up only to carry her over to the mattes. She did a little and then Buzz massaged her legs. He was surprised that she had regained all of the feeling she had lost and didn't tell him. Selena admitted it and told him that she still couldn't walk and wanted to give him a whole woman not what she is right now. Buzz and Selena kiss some more and he gives her an early Christmas present; a pair of red high heels for the New Year's Party at Millennium. He told her that she will dance with him that night, one way or another.
