There are two bits of sad news out of All My Children. Two of the show's former stars have split with their wives.
Vincent Irizarry (ex-
David Hayward) has announced that he and his wife of 13 year, Avalon, are divorcing.
"Avalon and I have been separated for the better part of this year and are in the process of going through a divorce," Irizarry told
Soaps In Depth. "Our separation has been amicable as we continue to be friends. Our greatest priority will never cease to be the well-being of our two amazing children whom we love beyond words as parents."
The pair has two children -- a 12-year-old daughter, Aria, and son, Elias, who is 9.
Meanwhile,
Aiden Turner (ex-
Aidan Devane) and his wife of five years, Megan, have also split. The Turners have a one-year-old daughter, Ciella.
