Let's be honest: we've all been a little, um, restless for new episodes of The Young and the Restless. The wait is almost over. All-new episodes of The Young and the Restless will begin airing next week, the week of August 3, 2020. To wrap up this special months-long series of rebroadcasts, Y&R opted to end with a bang -- five episodes that featured some of the soap's most shocking OMG moments. A complete list of episodes that aired during this week can be found here.

This episode originally aired December 4, 1996. In the episode, Genoa City both swooned and saw red when a magazine published a nude centerfold.

At Mary Williams' home, Margaret O'Neil, a busybody friend and prudish fellow church member slowly revealed a nude centerfold photo of Paul in a reclined position, facing the camera. Paul's face, shoulders, and upper chest were more visible than the remainder of his body, somewhat shrouded in low-light shadows. Paul's name was printed in white letters along the left-hand side of the page. Mary gasped, covered her eyes momentarily, and then cried, "Oh, my God! What is that?" The church lady sternly replied, "It's a naked picture of your son." Mary, noting that her question had been a rhetorical one, said she knew who was in the photo and wondered aloud how it had gotten printed in magazine centerfold.

This episode originally aired May 15, 1992. In the episode, Paul raced against the clock to stop Sheila from killing Lauren.

Meanwhile, the storm raged as Sheila held Molly and Lauren hostage at a Michigan farmhouse. Sheila remembered that when she'd been a little girl, Molly had always told her that there was nothing a mother wouldn't do to protect her baby. Sheila considered it a lesson she'd never forgotten, and she asserted that the three of them were there that night because there was nothing she wouldn't do to protect her child. Thunder boomed overhead as Lauren contemplated how it all had happened.

This episode originally aired April 16, 2004. In the episode, Sharon's search for Cameron led her (and Nikki) to a rat-infested sewer.

Nikki and Sharon met Larry Warton close to the Lakeside Bar. Larry told them that he'd dumped Cameron's body into the sewer drain. He'd thought it would be the quickest way to get rid of the body, and no one would think to look there. He lifted the grate and told Sharon and Nikki they would have to go down there if they wanted to see the body. Nikki objected strenuously, but she followed Sharon into the rat-infested sewer. Nikki screamed when she saw the rats. Larry followed the ladies. Nikki stated that Sharon needed to see a psychiatrist.

This episode originally aired March 1, 2005. In the episode, after finding test results among Neil's cards, Lily confronted Dru and Malcolm about her paternity.

Malcolm and Dru returned to her apartment, where they found Lily holding the envelope containing the results of the paternity test. Lily asked her mother what it was, and Dru casually stated it was just a medical test. She handed the envelope to Malcolm. Lily continued to question the contents of the envelope, and she asked Dru once again what she thought it was. Dru replied that she really didn't know and had no idea how it had gotten mixed up in Neil's mail. Lily had become very suspicious and told them both to stop pretending. She said she'd seen Dru's name on the envelope. She angrily asked which one of them was going to tell her what it was all about.

This episode originally aired September 1, 2016. This episode was Y&R's 11,000th episode and featured Neil reuniting with his mother and Chelsea getting an explosive surprise while going to visit Adam.

In the assisted-living facility, Lucinda called out to ask if Neil was really there. Neil replied that he'd talked to her doctors about her condition, and she wasn't doing very well. She called the doctors fools, and she invited Neil to step closer so she could get a look at him. She marveled that he'd grown into a fine man with a successful career and a beautiful family, and she mentioned that she'd kept up with his life over the years. Neil huffed that she'd made it very clear that she'd never wanted to be part of his life, so he questioned why she'd bothered keeping updated on it.
