Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, The Young and the Restless began broadcasting special throwback episodes until it was safe for the cast and crew to return to work. As a treat to viewers, CBS aired special theme weeks devoted to iconic characters. This week focused on some of Genoa City's naughtiest residents -- the villains. A complete list of episodes that aired during this week can be found here.

This episode originally aired October 7, 1991. In the episode, the walls closed in on the nefarious David Kimble.

As David ran down the hall with blood dripping from his hand, he encountered several uniformed police officers accompanied by John Silva and Paul. Paul pointed and said, "Oh, my God! That's him. That's Kimball." An officer drew his service weapon and yelled for David to hold it. David turned and ran in the opposite direction. David opened a door leading into a maintenance room and barred the door closed. David opened the hatch leading into a trash chute and jumped inside.

As a treat to viewers, CBS aired special theme weeks devoted to iconic characters. This week focused on some of Genoa City's naughtiest residents -- the villains. This episode originally aired August 14, 2003. In the episode, Isabella and Christine settled unfinished business, while Paul and Michael unraveled a mystery

Isabella brandished a knife, which glinted in the candlelight. Christine's eyes flickered open and widened in horror when she saw Isabella. "Hello, Christine," Isabella calmly greeted her, and she asked if Christine was enjoying her nice, warm bath. Christine told herself that she was imagining things, but Isabella stated that she was very real. Christine cried that Isabella was dead. "I'm afraid not, my dear," Isabella sweetly replied, adding that in a few moments, Christine would be.

This episode originally aired October 10, 2003. In the episode, Kevin's revenge plot took a dangerous turn.

A little drunk on power and booze, Kevin poured alcohol over the cooler door and vowed that it was time to make Colleen pay. He muttered that Colleen was probably getting cold, but things would get a lot warmer momentarily. Inside the cooler, Colleen sank to the floor in tears, unaware of what Kevin had done in the dining room and kitchen.

This episode originally aired December 15, 2005>. In the episode, Sheila made a surprise appearance during Lauren and Michael's honeymoon.

On the yacht, Lauren was stunned to see Sheila standing in front of her. They started to wrestle, and just as Lauren was about to hit Sheila, Tom entered and pulled Lauren back. They grabbed her and tied her up. Tom called Sheila "Brenda," and Lauren was horrified to connect the dots that Scott's friend Brenda and Sheila were the same person.

This episode originally aired April 27, 2010. In the episode, Lauren and Michael saw double as they came face to face with Lauren's impostor.

Sarah, disguised as Lauren, overheard Kevin's conversation and asked him if he thought it was a good idea to question Ryder. Kevin said that he had to find Jana, and he thought that Lauren understood that. Lauren offered to watch Fen, but Fen seemed less than thrilled with that idea. Kevin told Lauren that the Romalottis were going to watch the boy. After Kevin and Fen left, Sarah called Daisy to tell her that they needed to stop Kevin and Michael before they "broke" Ryder.
