Will Kyle spoil Victors plans on The Young and the Restless?

On The Young and the Restless, Victor had his henchman, Michael, install spies at Glissade for the merge with Jabot. Kyle has just encountered one of them. Does he suspect foul play?

Victor (Eric Braeden) thinks he has the perfect plan on The Young and the Restless, with his spies cleverly positioned at Glissade. Once the merger is complete, they will be absorbed into Jabot and ideally placed to conduct corporate espionage just as Victor likes to operate. But what he may not have considered is that after betraying Kyle (Michael Mealor) in the way that he did, he has effectively trained Kyle in his methods and, if anything, placed Kyle more on guard to avoid repeating the outcomes of the past.

The Abbott genes are kicking in for Kyle. An employee asking lots of questions should have this effect, Kyle, after what he has been through. It's great to see Kyle noticing and thinking differently, protecting the company. What will Kyle do about his suspicions? Will he tell Jack (Peter Bergman) or deal with it and prove himself to be the trusted son? One option Kyle could do is…nothing. Don't make them suspicious that someone is onto them; feed them lousy information and let them scurry their way back to Victor with disinformation.

Diane (Susan Walters) had left her tablet at the GCAC, but who had found it and turned it in? Was there a little snooping before that? That would have been a helpful tool had it been known that Victor had spies at the company.

Victor always plays a game several moves ahead, though; Kyle needs to be ready for that. If questioned, the employee may have to lie; lies are like cockroaches: where there is one, there are many. Kyle should trust his gut and take action based on it. Stay vigilant and keep looking. Victor may be about to meet his match with the Damian/Aristotle Dumas storyline that's currently evolving, but wouldn't it be nice to see Kyle get one up on the great Victor Newman? That would make for some great dinnertime conversations around the table at the Abbott mansion. Kyle requires a new storyline on The Young and the Restless. Being with Claire isn't a storyline. It’s a …situation, and one that fans and viewers are keen to see moved on from. Put Kyle front and center, and have him at least put a wrench in Victor's plans. Victor can’t stay bulletproof forever!
