Victor Reveals Connection to Aristotle Dumas on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, we seem to ever so slowly advance closer towards discovering who the mystery man, Aristotle Dumas, really is. Today, we got a clue: it’s someone Victor knows.

Dont Count Out The Count: The Young and the Restless’s Aristotle Dumas

With the discovery that Nate (Sean Dominic) has a half-brother, the investigation into where they were and what they were up to came in. Nate’s mother, Amy (Valarie Pettiford), hired a private investigator to locate Damian. In what would be one discovery after another, the Russian doll-esque mystery had us learn the person we believed to be Damian was, in reality, Holden (Nathan Owens). He was a friend and employee of the real Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).

Nothing is known about Damian other than the fact that he manages several companies that are all owned by Aristotle Dumas. Damian’s favorite book as a child was The Count of Monte Cristo, whose author was Alexandre Dumas. This has led to many fan theories about who this might be. On the episode airing March 19th, 2025, of The Young and the Restless, a preview of next week's episodes showed Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) telling his lawyer and faithful sidekick Michael (Christian LeBlanc) that he has a history with Aristotle Dumas. Confirming once and for all that the man is real. Fans and viewers were discussing this on the Soap Central Message Boards.

“In the preview today for next week, Victor tells Michael he has a history with Aristotle Dumas. I mean seriously? Another storyline that Victor is involved in? He is literally involved with every story on the show. I can only hope that this Dumas guy and Jack team up to take TGVN down. And I thought when Michael and Victor were discussing Dumas a few weeks ago they said no one has ever even seen him, he's like a recluse. “I honestly couldn't believe my ears hearing that Victor has history with Aristotle Dumas a man he has never met or laid eyes on but they have history.... Now I just really have to know what kind of history they have! It doesn't look good by the expression on VIctors face....Dumas may make an appearance after all if he has history with Victor! Victor may be in for the ultimate fight to protect his company especially if Dumas has bad intentions when it comes to Victor! I really hope they bring this character to life!”

With this revelation, and not surprising, we may have this mystery man revealed. I’m not going to give up on the possibility of it being Cane (Daniel Goddard), and with so many fan theories to work with, some of us will be very surprised.
