Here’s what to watch on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, when Nick and Mariah devise a plan to help Sharon, Phyllis takes control, and Sharon is triggered to explore her dark side on The Young and the Restless.

Team Sharon makes a plan

Mariah, Nick, and Faith have been at a loss as to what to do about Sharon. Mariah feels like everything they try makes it worse. Nick is starting to care less about upsetting Sharon and would rather just save her.

With Sharon missing, it’s time to make some decisions. They have no idea if she is safe from harming herself or others. Everyone is looking at Nick to find Sharon, but he is the most worried of them all.

Nick has gotten to the point that he is ready to do whatever it takes to save Sharon from herself. He would rather be wrong and have Sharon upset that they didn’t give her space than risk losing her forever.

How will they find her, or will she find them instead?

Evil plans are executed

Cameron has convinced Sharon that it is time to carry out their plans to destroy Daniel as punishment for Cassie’s death.

Sharon broke into the Romalotti apartment, went through the liquor cabinet, and pulled out a bottle of whiskey. With some poison in her hand, Sharon intends to spike the bottle.

But who, if anyone, will drink it? Heather and Daniel have meetings and interviews this week in hopes of job offers. Will they have something to celebrate together? Or will one of them feel discouraged in their job search and commiserate with a glass of whiskey?

Lucy has been exhibiting a drinking problem, and sneaking into her parents’ liquor cabinet isn’t out of the question. Will she be the one to drink the poison?

Other friends or family could come by for a visit and could be offered a drink. Will Team Sharon get to her in time? Or will she be interrupted before she can put the poison into the bottle?

Phyllis forges ahead

Billy quickly discovered that Phyllis was his only ally in the battle to keep his company. Under attack from Victor, Nikki, and Lily, Billy realizes that almost everyone in Genoa City has no faith that he will win this feud.

Everyone but Phyllis, that is. Not only is it an opportunity to get a job, but Phyllis can also redeem herself with Billy. She knows what it’s like to be truly alone in that city, with no support from friends or family.

Phyllis claims to be Billy’s ride-or-die partner in the feud and has promised to stick with him to the end. Will she? Or will her self-serving nature take over?

Billy has repeatedly warned Phyllis to keep out of his personal life and not to take charge at the office. But Phyllis believes she knows what’s best for Billy, even when he can’t see it. Will she make decisions that make him happy, or will she be kicked out of the office?
