On Thursday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, Devon and Nate give Lily unsolicited advice, Phyllis makes plans with Billy, and Sharon covers her tracks.
Phyllis makes a decision
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) asked Billy (Jason Thompson) for a job on his executive team at Abbott-Chancellor, but he made his conditions clear. Billy told Phyllis that he was not looking for a partner, but he would consider bringing her on his team.
However, when Billy started listing all the things that Phyllis couldn’t do and his demands as her boss, suddenly, the job wasn’t as appealing as Phyllis first thought. She told Billy she’d sleep on it and get back to him.
On Thursday’s episode of Y&R, Phyllis is well rested and ready for her new adventure as COO of Abbott-Chancellor. First on the agenda is strategizing with Billy and marking her territory with Lily (Christel Khalil).
Lily gets more than she asked for
Lily has been making choices and demanding people take notice. However confident she is in herself, her family isn’t as sure.
Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic) know Victor (Eric Braeden) can be ruthless when getting what he wants. Lily trusts that Victor will be a man of his word in honor of her father, Neil, but Devon and Nate know that Victor’s loyalty is always to himself first.
Victor has already approached both men and advised them to warn Lily that he intended to attack Chancellor Industries while she was co-CEO. If Billy (Jason Thompson) hadn’t fired Lily, Victor's attack would not have stopped.
Lily doesn’t ask for their advice, but Devon and Nate give it to her, anyway. Will it be well received? Or will Lily stubbornly ignore them?
Sharon and Cameron hide out
Cameron (Linden Ashby) made Sharon realize that she might not be fooling anyone with her calm, cool, collected routine. Sharon didn’t think her family would dare consider sending her back to Fairview, but Cameron convinced her otherwise.
Fearful that she might get tricked by going home and then get forced into therapy, Sharon leaves and covers her tracks.
Will Nick (Joshua Morrow), Mariah (Camryn Grimes), or Faith (Reylynn Caster) discover the motel room Sharon is hiding in before she can carry out her plan to hurt Daniel (Michael Graziadei)?
Meanwhile, Nick, Mariah, and Faith meet at Crimson Lights and discuss Sharon. Mariah is later spotted outside a door marked suite 523, but who is she trying to see?
