On Monday, September 16, 2024, Nick and Mariah learn troubling news, Victoria makes a decision about her future with Cole, and Daniel vows to protect Lucy.

She loves me, she loves me not

Cole (J. Eddie Peck) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have been skirting around defining their situationship for a while now.

Victor (Eric Braeden) gave Cole direct orders to stay away from his daughter, but Cole has been ignoring him. Cole has been showing up at Victoria's office often, inviting her for lunch, and making himself available for more.

After being direct with Victor and scoffing at Victor's disapproval, Cole made his intentions clear to Victoria. Cole said he used to wake up and think about writing, but now his first thoughts of the day were of Victoria. Cole was happily surprised when Victoria challenged him to show her how he felt, and they forfeited lunch for a round of mattress dancing instead.

But now that Cole's reminded Victoria what he can bring to the table, will it be enough? Or was their midday rendezvous enough to remind Victoria that she likes to attract bad boys?

Is Lucy or Daniel in danger?

Daniel's (Michael Graziadei) mother, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), claims she sees what no one else does: that Sharon is dangerous.

Sharon has publicly attacked the Romalotti family, but her rage has been blatantly directed at Daniel's daughter, Lucy (Lily Brooks O'Briant). Most of Genoa City doesn't know Sharon's subconscious is furious at Daniel.

Recently, when Lucy and Faith (Reylynn Caster) were in an accident, Sharon was haunted by memories of losing her daughter Cassie (Camryn Grimes). The trauma of seeing Faith unconcious in a hospital was like being at Cassie's bedside all over again and has caused Sharon to spiral. Sharon sees the ghost of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), and he encourages her to feel the anger she has suppressed since Cassie died. With the help of a dream and Cameron steering her thoughts, Sharon surmised that the root of her pain is Daniel.

Phyllis is trying to get through to Daniel that Sharon is out for blood, and his heart is in the right place—protecting his daughter. But since Sharon believes that Daniel should have died in the accident instead of Cassie, where will her revenge take her? Will she go after Daniel? Or will his punishment be to lose his daughter like Sharon did all those years ago?

Teaming up to help Sharon

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) know there's a problem, but they don't know what exactly it is. For months, Sharon has been deteriorating mentally and emotionally, and Nick and Mariah have been trying to figure out why.

Phyllis told Nick that Sharon belongs in Fairview. Sharon told Nick that she was in constant contact with her doctors and taking her meds. They need to get her assessed soon, but will it be too late when they decide to go to her doctor? Sharon would refuse to get medical attention, and their only choice might be to have her go to the hospital against her will. But will she already have sought revenge on the Romalottis before that happens? Or will sensing that Nick and Mariah might intervene lead Sharon to run away?
