Nate fumed when Lily revealed that she’d asked Victor to investigate Damian. After sharing some fond memories, Damian agreed to try to mend fences with Amy. Devon confronted Damian about his lies but claimed he was willing to give Damian the benefit of the doubt. Devon worried that Damian was hiding more secrets, while Lily planned to get to know Damian better. Amy met with Nate’s oncologist friend. Nate and Damian bonded over losing their fathers at a young age. Holden mentioned Damian’s temper to Audra. Damian was irritated to find Holden spending time with Audra, and he ordered Holden to go back to L.A. Billy and Sally invited Jack and Diane to a dinner party to celebrate the launch of Abbott Communications. Diane questioned whether Billy was sure he wanted Phyllis to be involved in his new project. Jack reiterated that he had faith in his brother, but he warned Billy to be careful about Phyllis. Chance reported that there was no sign of Phyllis and no record of Sharon checking into any spas in Sedona. Nick, Billy, Daniel, and Summer’s fears escalated that something had happened to Sharon and Phyllis. In captivity, Sharon and Phyllis speculated about who had kidnapped them. Sharon stopped Phyllis from breaking a window to scream for help. The women’s captor continued to taunt them with riddles. Victor refused Jack’s plea to stop interfering in Claire and Kyle’s relationship. Claire caught Kyle consoling Summer in his arms again. Claire suspected that Victor was encouraging Summer to reunite with Kyle. Kyle admitted to Summer that he could see himself falling in love with Claire. Summer claimed that she didn’t have an issue with Kyle and Claire being together, but she cautioned that Victor would drive them apart. Jack sensed that Summer wanted Kyle back. Chelsea and Adam supported Connor’s desire to try out for the baseball team. After Billy caught Chelsea and Adam holding hands, Adam accused Billy of creating his own media company to attack Newman Media. Billy was surprised that his company’s launch had been leaked, but he assured Chelsea that his new venture had nothing to do with hurting the Newmans. Billy later scrambled to release a press statement about Abbott Communications before Adam had a chance to do so first. Chelsea wondered if Adam was really over Sally.
