Sharon and Phyllis were overjoyed to reunite with their families. Sharon suspected that the kidnapper had some psychological training. Sally called Billy a hero for helping save Sharon and Phyllis. Billy urged Phyllis to take time to recover, but she was adamant that throwing herself into work at Abbott Communications was the only way to get over her ordeal. Phyllis worried that Billy was only working with her out of pity, but he assured her there was no one else he’d want to run the company with. An emotional Phyllis hugged Billy and credited him with saving her life.
Summer voiced concern to Nick about Phyllis’ state of mind. Chance found a remote-control device attached to the gas line in the room where Sharon and Phyllis had been held, and he traced the device’s purchase to a local hardware store. Sharon invited Nick to join her and Faith on a trip to Europe to visit Noah, but Nick declined. Nick and Sharon confided to one another that they’d each thought about becoming a couple again. Traci caught Alan in a lie when he tried to explain the messages about a security breach on his phone. Alan pushed the idea of getting married in Paris. Traci asked Jack to walk her down the aisle. Traci requested the use of the Jabot jet to fly to Paris to check out venues, but she was shocked when Alan booked a commercial flight without her. Jack and Diane cautioned that the wedding plans seemed rushed. After Kyle mentioned that Sharon and Phyllis had been held hostage at an abandoned psychiatric clinic, Traci found it oddly coincidental that Alan had been receiving messages about a clinic security breach at the same time.

Claire interrupted yet another close moment between Kyle and Summer. Summer told Kyle that Victor wanted the two of them to get back together. Audra confessed to Holden that Nate had encouraged her to befriend Holden, but she warned Holden not to take advantage of the situation. Nate and Damian headed to Chicago together after they learned Amy had been admitted to a hospital there for treatment. Lily was suspicious when she found Audra and Holden laughing over lunch. Chelsea just missed overhearing Adam instructing someone to trash Billy in the press. Chelsea surprised Adam with a romantic dinner, and they made love.
