Victor became suspicious of what Nikki, Victoria, and Claire were planning. Claire told Jordan that she’d been playing the Newmans while secretly plotting Victoria’s demise, resulting in a sizable inheritance for Claire that could finance a life of luxury for her and Jordan. Jordan confided to Claire that Ian was her partner and that Ian had killed Heather. The police traced the car Sharon’s kidnapper had been driving to the motel where Ian and Jordan had been staying. Jordan caught Chance and Nick searching her motel room. Chance found evidence that a woman had been staying in Ian’s room, and DNA tests confirmed Jordan had been there. Claire pretended to give Jordan a safe place to stay at the tack house. Claire poisoned Jordan’s tea, but she stopped her aunt from drinking it when Jordan revealed that she was holding Sharon in an undisclosed location as an insurance policy. Claire threatened to call the police unless Jordan told her where Sharon was. Jordan realized Claire had been playing her, but Nikki and Victoria emerged from hiding, and Victor and Nick soon joined them. Jordan attempted to negotiate her escape in exchange for Sharon’s location. Sharon’s visions of Nick encouraged her to summon the strength to escape from the sewer. Mariah found Ian talking to Tessa and wished him dead. Mariah lashed out when Tessa suggested that Ian’s pleas for forgiveness might be sincere. After angrily walking out on Tessa, Mariah was stunned when she found a bedraggled Sharon in Chancellor Park. Mariah called Nick with the news, and Jordan panicked when she no longer had a bargaining chip. Jordan swallowed the spiked tea, expecting Claire to save her. Jordan refused to tell Victor where Ian was. Claire took Jordan’s hand in hers right before Jordan died. Victor later demanded to know what the Newman women had been thinking. Sharon happily reunited with her family. Mariah blamed herself because Ian had gone after her mother to get to her. Mariah’s loved ones urged her to make amends with Tessa to avoid giving Ian the satisfaction of creating a rift between them. Billy resolved to sort through his issues with Jill and agreed to think about Jack’s offer to fund his next venture. Sally surprised Billy with her renovations for his new home. Billy decided to let go of his anger over losing Chancellor and move forward.
