Nate planned to consult with a former medical colleague about Amy’s case. Nate and Audra tried to keep Amy’s spirits up. Audra was nervous that Nate would find out she shared a past with Holden, but she still met with Holden to beg him to convince Damian to give Amy another chance. Damian decided to stay in town after his chance encounter with Lily at Society. After Lily turned down Damian’s invitation to dinner because he wouldn’t make peace with his mother, Damian decided to hear Amy out. Damian accused Amy of not being there when Jackson had been dying, leaving a young Damian to cope on his own. Amy revealed that Jackson had let their insurance policy lapse, so she’d needed to work two jobs to support their family. Damian softened when he realized he hadn’t known everything Amy had gone through, but he still needed time to sort through his feelings. Amy and Damian shared a hug. Hoping to repair the rift between their families, Victor had his contacts investigate Damian as a favor to Lily. Victor informed Lily that Damian hadn’t built his own empire but had acquired it, and it was unclear how. Victor also revealed that while Damian had been granted ownership, the true owner was Aristotle Dumas. Upon learning Damian had met with Amy, Lily accepted his dinner invitation. Victor and Michael discussed the employees they’d planted at Glissade to take Jack down via Jabot. Michael dodged Lauren’s questions about what had really happened the night of Victor’s shooting. Claire refused to walk away from Kyle even if Victor wouldn’t approve of their relationship. Victor and Kyle begrudgingly caved into Claire’s request to all have dinner together. Over dinner, Victor hinted at an implosion in the Abbott family and maintained that he’d never accept Claire being with Kyle. Daniel suspected Summer was jealous of Kyle and Claire’s relationship. Daniel and Summer became worried when Phyllis suddenly stopped communicating with them. Summer turned to Chance to look into Phyllis’ disappearance. Claire was unnerved when Kyle took Summer into his arms to console her. Summer warned that Victor would find a way to end Kyle and Claire’s romance. Jack remained wary of Diane’s ideas for redesigning the Abbott mansion, but he agreed to a romantic stay at the Athletic Club while his family home was being renovated.
