Watch Out, Alan — Ashley's Back!

The mystery of Alan continues to unfold as a familiar face re-enters the scene. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), the man who brought Alan (Christopher Cousins) and Martin (also played by Cousins) into their lives in the first place, is coming home.

Ashley has come and gone from the Abbott fold over the years. She's spent time in Los Angeles and Paris in her efforts to get away from it all. Now, she's back as the situation is fraught with chaos. And all we can say is that Alan or Martin or whoever he is had better watch out. A united Abbott family is one unbeatable adversary! Ashley has her very own role to play in this ongoing mystery, and her presence just may turn the tables in favor of the Abbott family.

Ashley knows something about doubles and multiple identities. We've seen her alters: Ash, Ms. Abbott, and Belle. Perhaps she'll have insights into Alan (or Martin) that will help the Abbott family win the day.

Justice Delayed

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are forever changed by their kidnapping ordeal. Sharon and Phyllis want justice! We suspect they'd love nothing more than to get their kidnapper alone by themselves. If they can't have that, they'd probably be satisfied with letting the police take their kidnapper into custody. But don't the two women in a strange way owe their abuser a thanks? After all, they're now no longer at each other's throats at every turn.

There had to be an easier way to get these two to get along. Maybe a therapy session instead of a life-threatening ordeal. Still...one can't argue with results can one?

Phone Home

Traci (Beth Maitland) continues to be living the life of one of the heroines in her novels. She's on the fence about Alan being Alan...or maybe he is Martin or someone else? Traci has been going through a great deal of angst as she grapples with her darkest fear: that the man she loves is an imposter and that he's responsible for some heinous, diabolical crimes.

Traci has tried to keep family members, including Diane and Kyle (Michael Mealor), in the dark. She doesn't want to endanger them. But was that a mistake? Y&R teasers have Traci making a distress call on Tuesday. Who is she calling? And why? Will she regret not bringing more allies into her circle?
