On Wednesday's Y&R episode, watch for Nikki to take action to help her granddaughter Claire (Hayley Erin) and her boyfriend Kyle (Michael Mealor). This will not be an easy task for Nikki, as it likely means going up against her husband, Victor (Eric Braeden), in some form.

We've already seen Nikki encourage Claire to stand up to Victor in her pursuit of true love. Now, Nikki's going to put her money where her mouth is and be Claire's ally. Victor's wife has already lived through watching him try to control the lives of his children. Now, Victor's attempting to orchestrate Claire's life. Will Nikki succeed?

A Tough Call

Nikki's not the only one who will take action to help a loved one. Watch for Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to push her ex-husband Cole (J. Eddie Peck) to make a tough decision. Is Victoria asking Cole to make a personal choice or a professional one? We know that Cole just got back from an international tour to learn about Newman's publishing division. He coughed a bit over lunch with Vicki and Claire.

Did Cole pick up a bug while flying around the world? If so, Vicki may encourage Cole to get a check-up with his doctor. We hope it's nothing, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Cole and Vicki were robbed of raising their daughter after she was stolen from them by Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk). The family of three has finally been reunited. Let's hope whatever it is that Vicki is pushing Cole to do ensures them many more years of togetherness.

Also on Wednesday, watch for Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) to get some unexpected news. We've seen Lauren working to make sure that her husband, Michael (Christian LeBlanc), remains safe. He works for Victor, a man who only wants one thing from his employees: blind loyalty. Lauren is savvy enough to know that that could get Michael in big trouble if he's not careful.

She has already enlisted Nikki's help in ensuring Michael doesn't get hurt. Will the news that Lauren gets involve Victor and Michael? If so, what will her next move be?
