Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) share a long and, at times, devious past. The architect has gotten into some jams over the years, and Michael has been the man to bail her out, represent her in court, and lend her a supportive ear.

There's nothing old friends can't ask each other, right? Well, maybe. Diane's going to lean on her long-standing relationship with Michael when she puts him in a compromising position. Will she be asking him to handle something legal? Is she hoping to help Jack out in what seems to be an endless war with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)? Diane knows that Michael is Victor's right-hand man, and Jack asked her not to reveal to him that they know about Victor's spies that Michael planted at Jabot. If anyone can help her out with the mustached mogul, it's Michael — but will he want to?

Victor stays ahead of his enemies and even his allies by playing his cards close to the vest. Watch for him to do just that as he continues to survey the current climate. Whether Victor is sizing up the enigmatic Aristotle Dumas or planning his next strike against the Abbott clan, he rarely tips his hand. One confidante he has is Michael. If Diane is truly going to call upon their old friendship for something, Victor may be caught off guard. Then again, he knows Diane is crafty. Victor just might keep even Michael in the dark if he believes that Diane is going to seek him out as an ally.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is one of the more savvy people in Genoa City. Victor respects her. She's got good instincts. But there's been so much going on lately connected to the mysterious Aristotle and the mystery of Damian (Jermaine Rivers), Lily may not know what's truly going on, but on Friday, she reaches out to Amy (Valarie Pettiford) for some guidance. Lily doesn't have a maternal figure as her mother, Drucilla (Victoria Rowell), is presumed dead, and also, Traci (Beth Maitland), the mother of her BFF Colleen (Tammin Sursok), is out of town. Will Amy be able to give Lily the support she needs?
