At the Newman ranch, Abby was preparing for her wedding day with Mariah, Tessa, and Victoria. Sally texted to say that Summer had picked up the dress and was on her way. Abby said her nerves were excited to marry Devon, and it felt like her first wedding.
Downstairs, Nikki fussed over decorations, but Victor told her not to stress and let his team handle it. Nikki noted it was brilliant of Victor to send the guests geotags to get to the wedding. Victor received a call from Jill, who said they needed a quick in-person meeting. Victor agreed to go as Jill knew it better be important to take him away on the wedding day. Jill told Victor she had a definitive answer about Chancellor and said to meet her at Society. Victor left as Cole and Victoria arrived.
At the Abbott mansion, Victor thought Ashley looked stunning. They talked about how it would be a hard day for him to share space with Victor. As Jack explained why his feud with Victor had escalated, Kyle walked in and was offended that his father was calling him a pawn to the “big, bad Victor Newman.”
Jack said he was just explaining why there could be tension with Victor and apologized for sounding aggressive. He reiterated to Kyle that he liked where they were and hoped their relationship would continue improving. He asked if he’d told Kyle lately how happy he was that he and Harrison would live there. Kyle said he hadn’t mentioned it since breakfast and smiled.

Ashley wanted to get to the ranch. As she left, Claire arrived. Jack noted she probably wasn’t there to care for Harrison in the dress she was wearing. Claire said she was going to her aunt’s wedding. Kyle told Jack he had invited Claire as his date; Jack seemed pleased.
Jill came into Billy’s office as he was finishing a phone call. He was surprised she had gotten in a day earlier and didn’t tell him. Jill admitted she had seen Victor instead. Billy told her that he did everything she asked, and the paperwork was being drawn up for Lily’s return. “Cancel her contract,” Jill said.
Jill told Billy that Lily wasn’t coming back and that he would no longer be running things. “I did exactly what you wanted,” Billy said. Jill told him it was too little, too late. “Sorry, but my decision is final. I’m stripping you of your duties,” Jill said. Billy knew it didn’t make sense, but Jill wanted to wait until after the wedding to talk about it.
Billy told his mom she couldn’t drop a bomb like that and then expect him to wait to talk about it. “I deserve an answer. You gave me an ultimatum, and I complied to the letter,” Billy added. Jill said she shouldn’t have given him the ultimatum. Billy noted that he had made good choices and would do them again. “There it is,” Jill said, “I have no choice. It’s over, son.”
At the Athletic Club, Devon had champagne with Lily and Nate. Lily noted that Neil would be very proud to know that Nate was Devon’s best man. “I would do anything for Neil and Dru to be here today,” Devon said. They were celebrating when Devon’s sister Ana and his mom Harmony came in. They embraced and then joined them for the celebration.
As they were getting caught up, Victor walked in. Everyone dispersed so that Victor could talk to Devon. Victor and Devon reaffirmed that they would put their differences aside until after the wedding. Victor welcomed Devon to the family.
Devon told Victor that Abby was precious and that he never wanted Victor to doubt that he wouldn’t look after her and protect her the way Victor would. Victor said he was proud to call Devon his son-in-law.
Devon asked if Victor would make amends with Lily. “I know you said you were looking out for her, but the way you went about it caused her pain,” Devon explained. Victor reiterated that Lily belonged at Winters, but Devon said she didn’t want to be. He explained that Lily would fight for her seat back at Chancellor. “Ain’t gonna happen,” Victor said firmly.
Victor came home and saw Abby in her room. He told her he welcomed Devon to the family and that it made him happy to do so. Father and daughter shared a tender moment, and Ashley watched from the doorway, smiling.
Downstairs, Reverend Holmes arrived, and Nikki introduced him to Cole, Victoria, and Nick. Billy came in and pulled Lily from Esther. He told her she needed to tell Jill how serious she was about returning to Chancellor. Billy walked up to Victor and said he knew he was behind what was happening and wouldn’t get away with it. Victor’s smile faded as he growled for Billy to make the day about his niece and not himself.
Esther and Jill sparred about Jill’s absence. Jill told Esther to choke on an appetizer. Jack was amazed when he walked in and told Traci the house was practically brick for brick like the original. Traci explained to Alan how the original burned down, and Victor rebuilt it for Nikki. “What a man will do for love,” Alan said with a smile.
Nikki and Victor welcomed the guests and invited them to sit down. As Ana began playing the piano, Diane quickly entered and sat next to Cole. Jack's jaw dropped to see her there, and Kyle looked furious as Claire soothed him. Nate arrived with Audra, and she noted the dirty looks she got from Kyle and Lily.
At the bottom of the staircase, Ashley and Victor waited for Abby. She appeared, looking radiant, and came down the steps. As Ana sang, Victor and Ashley walked Abby down the aisle.
Devon mouthed “I love you” to Abby as soon as he saw her. She joined him at the altar, and they both said how ready they were as the flower-covered front door closed and the ceremony began.
At Crimson Lights, Faith wondered why her mom was working. Sharon admitted that Nick asked her to go with him to the wedding, but she wasn’t up to it. Faith asked if something else happened with Phyllis.
Sharon reluctantly told Faith about searching Phyllis’ room and getting caught. Faith asked her mom why she would take such a risk. Sharon felt that Phyllis was out of control and didn’t trust her not to fabricate evidence against her. Sharon said she had to do something but feared that she’d made Phyllis more angry. Sharon told Faith that Phyllis was capable of anything and didn’t know what she would do to her next.
Faith suggested Sharon take the trip to Sedona, which she had postponed. Sharon felt she had to stand her ground with Phyllis and turn it around on her. “Phyllis is trying to scare me. The only way to get her to back off is to come up with a way to get her to back off once and for all,” Sharon said.
Sharon looked for her phone but couldn’t find it. She told Faith it was probably at home, and she was on her way there. Faith was going out with friends but said she would come right home if Sharon wanted her to. Sharon assured Faith that no matter how crazy Phyllis could get, Sharon had the truth on her side.
Sharon was driving home and muttering about making Phyllis stop. Sharon was distracted by the extra bright lights from the car behind her.
At Society, Phyllis told Daniel about finding Sharon in her room and how Chance took her side. Phyllis said someone needed to do something soon because Sharon was unhinged and over the edge.
Phyllis thought she had Sharon exactly where she wanted her, hanging by a thread. Phyllis didn’t think it would take much to push Sharon overboard and into a confession. Daniel told his mom in no uncertain terms to back off. “You’re making things worse for yourself and probably for me,” Daniel added.
Phyllis wanted to prove that Daniel was being framed by Sharon, but Daniel said it wasn’t her place to prove it. Daniel shared that Christine was wondering if there was truth to Phyllis’ theory, and now he was wondering, too. “So now that Christine has given her blessing to my theory, now you’ll give it credence?” Phyllis asked, incredulous.
Phyllis received a text from Sharon: “I can’t take it anymore. I’m ready to tell the truth. But I need to make a deal with you first. Meet me at my house.” Daniel wondered what that was about. Phyllis said it was the wrong number. She promised to get justice for Daniel and Heather and wouldn’t make matters worse. Phyllis said she had somewhere she needed to be and left.
Once outside, Phyllis responded to Sharon's text: “This better be on the level. No tricks.” As she was driving, Phyllis got another text saying, “No tricks.” A little while later, she had another text. It was Sharon asking Phyllis where she was. The texts kept coming, and Sharon asked over and over when Phyllis was going to get there. Phyllis was distracted, saw bright headlights, and then crashed.
