At the main house, Victor poured Michael a double shot. He told Michael that something was going on at Winters, and he wanted to help Lily after what he did to her. He admitted Lily was angry with him and Nikki. Michael wanted to help smooth things over. Victor said he wanted to know more about Aristotle Dumas.

Michael said Victor had been wondering about Aristotle, the reclusive billionaire businessman who had lived in D.C. for years. Victor wondered if he even existed. Michael noted there were no photos of him, and he could be hiding behind another persona. Victor wanted to know why Aristotle had gone to such lengths to remain hidden and what interest he had in Winters, Lily, and Devon.

Victor told Michael what he knew about Damian Kane and that Lily had asked him to look into him. Victor explained that Damian’s companies were owned by Aristotle.

Michael promised to find out what he could. Victor asked how Michael’s family was doing so he gave an update. Victor assumed Michael that he was strong and focused since being shot a few days prior. Michael was pleased as they’d like him around a few years more. Nikki came in and agreed.

Nikki and Michael wanted Victor to take a few days off. Nikki told him that he had already conquered the world and that life was fleeting. She asked him to stop working and spend his time with those he loved. She wanted him to slow down so they could savor every moment they could have with him.

Victor said he had another challenge to take on. Michael suggested that he spend time with Nikki rather than worry about what’s happening at Winters. Victor said he knew when to stop but Michael knew he had no limits. Victor explained to Nikki that Lily needed his help. Nikki backed down and said she approved, and wanted to get back Lily’s trust.

After Michael left, Victor told Nikki how he helped Lily with something. Nikki said she would do everything she could to repair the relationship.

At the Athletic Club, Lily met Damian for dinner as promised. As they talked, Lily told him to tell her everything about him. Damian refreshed Lily about finding out that Jackson wasn’t his father. Lily wanted to know why he had cut Amy out of his life before he found out she’d lied about his paternity.

Lily assured Damian that her motives for prying were to protect Nate. She said she loved him, and even though he didn’t show it, Nate was very affected by finding out he had a brother. “So you’re here to advocate for Nate?” Damian wondered. Damian wondered if going back to L.A. was best for everyone and himself. Lily noted that Nate asked him to stay.

Damian shared that Jackson died from heart disease and that part of him wondered if he died from a broken heart. To Damian, it seemed like Amy didn’t care that he was dying. He added that Amy told him that day that she was trying to be brave for both of them, hold things together, and work two jobs to pay for his healthcare.

Damian said at 16, he saw things differently, and he was full of resentment and rage. He thought that his anger had taken hold of him and wasn’t sure if he’d ever let it go. He said that finding out about the lies Amy told his whole life wasn’t helping and he’d need some time to get past it.

Lily could see Damian’s side and shared that he empathized with how it felt to find out your paternity was different than you thought. She suggested that Damian spend time with Amy to understand better. Lily pointed out that Amy lost Jackson the same time he did, and then he cut her out, and he lost both of his parents. She asked that he just consider what she was saying.

Damian pointed out that he had shared all his family drama details as promised. He wanted to know about Lily, like if she was single or seeing anyone. Damian told her that he wasn’t hitting on her and that he was single, too. He said that he prioritized work. They both admitted that they did background checks on each other. Lily clarified they were not on a date. She asked Damian what his next move was, and he said he would follow her lead.

Lily repeated that it wasn’t a date and he didn’t need to follow her anywhere. Damian clarified he meant that he would give Amy a chance. He asked if he could see her again. Lily said she was open to negotiating that.

After dinner, Damian walked Lily to the front entrance and helped her with her coat. When she left, he texted Amy and asked if she wanted to have dinner the next day, noting that he would like to talk.

At the other main house, Chelsea was surprised that Adam had set up a romantic dinner for the two of them. She thought they were going out, but Adam had cooked so it would be more intimate and uninterrupted.

They talked about their relationship and dinner, had some banter, and laughed that Adam was making dinner and Chelsea was apprehensive about it. But when it was served, Chelsea thought it was delicious. Adam surprised her by having her favorite cheesecake flown in from New York.

Adam teased Chelsea about her baking, recounting how he’d dropped a chocolate cake on the floor one time to spare her feelings when it smelled and tasted awful. They laughed about it, and she thanked him for the evening. Chelsea and Adam noted the happy memories they had remembered and wished they’d created more for one another.

Adam told Chelsea she was the bravest person he knew. “For trying your cooking?” she teased. Chelsea said that they were both brave as they talked about Connor and what they had been through. Chelsea thought that Sally had seen them both change. As they talked, the more they became reconnected. “Look at us. Who’d have thought we’d get here?” Adam wondered. “Definitely not me,” Chelsea told him.

After dinner, Adam and Chelsea settled on the couch. She thanked him for dinner and the evening. She admitted that part of her thought that the night could end up being a disaster. She was glad they gave it a chance before passing judgment. So tonight was good?” Adam asked. Chelsea said it was better than good and then kissed him.
