Sharon faked a cheerful attitude in front of her family to cover up her role in Heather’s death. Sharon sent text messages from Heather’s phone to Daniel and Paul to make them believe Heather was alive and just needed time away. Lucy blamed herself for Heather’s departure. Sharon feigned surprise when Heather’s body was found in the river. Daniel was horrified when he was called in to identify Heather. Daniel gently broke the news to a devastated Lucy that Heather was dead. Chance later confirmed that Heather’s autopsy had revealed that she hadn’t drowned but had died from a blow to the head. Daniel, Lucy, and Phyllis rejected Sharon’s attempts to offer sympathy. “Cameron” continued to try to push Sharon into killing Daniel. After Kyle and Audra took turns trying to steal one another’s business deals, Victor ordered them to prove which one of them should be in charge. Kyle won the challenge by stealing confidential Jabot product information from Diane’s computer, and Victor fired Audra. Amy Lewis reached out to Nate about an urgent family matter. Jack and Diane bickered about work and family, and she accused him of not trusting her. Lily proposed to Victor that they plant a spy at Abbott-Chancellor. Victoria was miffed when Billy painted Victor as the villain when explaining their business war to Johnny and Katie. Billy used Victoria’s concerns about the kids to fish for information about Victor’s plans. Sally accepted Billy’s invitation to Abbott-Chancellor’s launch party. A grieving Phyllis turned to Billy for friendly support.
