Lily ran into Amy at Crimson Lights. Amy brought Lily up to speed on her health. She was feeling better. Amy said she had dinner with her old pal Traci Abbott. Lily did not know that Traci and Amy were friends. Lily had heard that Traci was going through a lot, too. She expressed concern for Traci. Then, Lily added that she had just had dinner with Damian.

Amy wanted to know if Lily was grilling Damian. She said she heard the raised voices the last time Lily had words about Damian at Nate’s apartment. Amy added that she knew Lily still had concerns about her son. She hoped that Lily could find it in her heart to give Damian the benefit of the doubt. Lily said she wanted to, but she had pretty good reason to believe that Damian was looking into her family company before they found him.

Lily asked if questions about Damian might be too serious to overlook. Amy said her eyes were wide open regarding Damian. She wanted to know what happened between Damian leaving home and his rise to success. Amy said she had seen Damian change and commented on how they had grown apart. She added that one day, he was just gone, just like that. Now, she’s glad to see that the son she raised so dearly is still there. Lily noted that Damian still loves his mother. Amy laughed as she revealed that Damian now calls her multiple times a day. She doesn’t know if he was looking into Lily’s family, but she said that her son has a good heart.

Lily revealed her past cancer diagnosis and battle to Amy. She talked about the hopelessness and constant praying. She added that cancer is a fight one can win. Amy said she can’t look at life through rose-colored glasses. She noted that Damian’s success came quickly. Lily agreed there was something fishy about Dumas. Amy didn’t want to undo the progress she’s made with her son by asking him about his business dealings. She said she couldn’t risk pushing him away. Lily agreed. But Lily told Amy that Damian might know what Dumas is planning.

Abby lent a supportive ear to Devon, who was concerned about Lily. Devon’s wife pointed out that Devon needed to give Lily more credit because Lily was too smart to be taken in by Damian. Devon agreed that Lily was smart. Abby said Lily wouldn't get victimized again.

Devon pointed out that Damian is smooth. He thought that Damian was going after Lily on a personal level. Abby noted that Lily was aware of that. Devon called his wife amazing. Abby joked to him that he was just noticing that now. Abby said she was going to see her dad at the ranch. Devon said he admired a man who took a bullet to save his family, which Victor had done during the Ian Ward mess. Abby wished he didn’t have to risk his life to keep people safe. Abby wondered if Devon was going to admit Victor was right with his business manipulations regarding Lily. “It’s never his intention,” Devon said. “It’s his methods.”

Abby went to the ranch and reconnected with Victor. She caught him up on her trip to France with Dominic, who picked up a few words of French. Abby said she’d bring him by tomorrow for a visit. Victor agreed it was terrible for both Ashley and Traci regarding the Martin ordeal. Abby hoped things would be calm. Victor said that wasn’t going to be the case. Abby half-feared that there was another maniac running around Genoa City. Victor said there was someone potentially dangerous, but it was more in business.

Victor brought Abby up to speed on Aristotle Dumas. Victor asked his daughter for a favor. Abby said she'd do anything for her dad. He asked for her to pass along any information she learns about Dumas to him. She agreed.

Nate couldn’t help but notice that Victor was calling Audra as they continued their night at the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge at the GCAC. Audra answered the phone. Victor announced he had good news regarding the cosmetics company they’d been talking about her helming. They agreed to meet the next day. Victor said Audra had better not come over unless she can help make sure Kyle’s relationship with Claire ends. She agreed. Audra told Nate she’s as “good as gold” with Victor. Later, Audra and Nate chatted with Amy and Lily at Crimson. They got caught up on Amy's dinner with Traci.

Amy told Nate and Audra that she and Lily wanted the same thing: They wanted to be able to trust Damian. Audra helped Amy out of the coffee shop. Then, Nate asked Lily if they could trust Damian, too. He wanted her to keep an open mind. Lily said that was what she was trying to do.

Diane approached Michael at the GCAC bar. Michael invited her to sit down. But Diane wasted no time in getting to her mission. She asked Michael if he was helping Victor go after Jack and Jabot.

Michael wondered why Diane would even ask such a question. He added that Victor’s desire for revenge was all on him. Michael tried to deflect Diane’s inquiry by making a joke. He pointed out to Diane that he and Victor had attorney/client confidentiality. Diane wanted answers. Michael said he doesn’t like the rivalry between Victor and Jack. He demanded to know why he was in the hot seat. Michael asked why Diane thought he would do what she was accusing him of doing.

Michael said he didn’t want to get involved with the Victor/Jack feud. Diane said he already was. Michael and Diane agreed that if Jack hadn’t gotten involved with Nikki’s sobriety. However, Diane added that Victor should be grateful. Diane wanted to know how far Victor was going to go this time. Diane let slip that Victor went on to “Plan B.” She added that Victor has said he opposes Claire and Kyle’s relationship. Michael accused Diane of making assumptions.

Diane insisted she knew Victor. She’d love nothing more than to stop that bastard dead in his tracks. Michael warned Diane not to go after Victor. She'd only make matters worse. Diane asked Michael what he expected her to do. She vowed to keep her family safe from Victor. Michael shouted that his hands were tied, even though Diane was his friend. Diane accused Michael of having more of an allegiance to Victor. Michael said he hated that Victor wouldn't give up his rivalry with Jack. "What is my choice?" Michael asked. Diane hoped that Michael would make the right choice.

Jack and Kyle shared a drink. The senior Abbott gave his son credit for handling the information at Jabot the way he did. Jack queried his son as to why he wasn’t with Claire. Kyle revealed that he told Claire about unmasking the mole. Jack asked if Kyle revealed Victor had a spy at Jabot.

Jack suggested that Victor looked like a saint compared to Jordan in Claire's eyes. He hoped that Claire would see the true Victor.

Diane joined Kyle and Jack in their suite. Diane commended her son on his work exposing the mole. Kyle said nothing can beat the united Abbott family. After he left, Diane let Jack know they might have an insider at Newman. Diane told Jack that she accused Michael of knowing what Victor was up to. She added that Michael played it close to the vest, but admitted that there was something in the air. Jack doubted how much of a friend Michael was if he was working with Victor.

Michael let Victor know that the Abbotts were suspicious. Victor surmised that the Abbotts were grasping at straws. Michael suggested regrouping, withdrawing the spies from Jabot. Victor asked if Michael caved to Diane and advised him to never forget for whom he was working. "I don't cave," Victor shouted. "Ever!"
