On The Young and the Restless, we are still watching Sharon and Phyllis trapped at an abandoned psychiatric facility playing games with a stranger, but viewers have found some curious problems.

Screen favorites Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) have been kidnapped and placed in a locked room. They play games and answer riddles for some unknown “voice” behind the speaker. At this point, it's like a C-grade horror movie, one you’d rent from Blockbuster for $3 for 2 weeks, only to hate it five minutes in. But you’ve already made the popcorn, and your friends have arrived, and now they are ripping on your choice of movie, and you are banned from making the decision again. That's how this feels. Watched on CCTV, receiving clues, and being tormented by their captor, we are no closer to discovering who this person is. But the aim for our frightened duo is simply survival. Fans and viewers of The Young and the Restless have been paying attention, and they have questions! Let's explore what the fans say live from the Soap Central message boards.
Phyllis, Sharon, and the door on The Young and the Restless
Soap Central user dedicatedsoaper wrote, “I noticed after a day or so with Phyllis & Sharon that if they look at the door, the hinges are on the INSIDE. They could pry out the pins on the hinges and possibly remove the door from the inside. Of course, this story doesn't have an easy escape. Also, did anyone ever notice the ceiling? After watching a lot of movies, one escape is always through the ceiling LOL. Then there is the water that Phyllis drank. Is all the water poisoned or did it just happen that the one Phyllis drank did? And of course, there is the bathroom issue. I didn't see any buckets nor a place for them to go. Anyone?"
“At this point, you have to chalk up all your issues to the fact that they are living in an alternate universe.” - CloverLeaf
Regular contributor zenmaster5 said, “That water has me worried because I wonder if all of the water bottles are poisoned too! I would be so afraid to even drink any of that water after what happened to Phyllis! I didn't noticed [sic] the door and the hinges being on the inside...that could be a way out but what would they use to pry the pins off! If they could find something heavy, they could also just whack the door knob a few times to loosen it up and walk right out of there.”
littleliz commented, “How did the sticker get on the bottle of antidote? This is too far out and tired of women being kidnapped. Since Mariah nothing but women trapped in some way. No better ideas out there writers????”
CloverLeaf added, "I questioned if The Voice creeps in their room at night to plant all those things. Of course neither one of them wakes up. Plus he knows exactly what's going to happen and is prepared for it when it does.”
GuidingLite wrote, “I think the ending to this story is going to be a huge letdown and it's going to be someone whose motive was to get Sharon and Phyllis to get along better....if it were Sharon and Mariah, or Sharon and Faith....I might think it will be someone with a vendetta.....but since it's Sharon and Phyllis, I doubt it's going to be that exciting a conclusion.....”

How long will this scenario drag out on The Young and the Restless? Fans are collectively groaning, "Please, oh please, let this nightmare end." Have Nick come bursting through the door like the Hulk, and then have Chance appear to officially end it in dramatic Mystery Machine fashion — with some person we have never seen before sitting cuffed on the floor. Chance pulls the person's hair and… it's a mask. The group collectively gasps, “Ian Ward!” Then, he says, "And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids!"
