On The Young and the Restless, Alan remains mysterious. Alan is now going to Paris, France, alone at first, with Traci to follow, but is he just buying time to clear the kidnapping drama?
The Young and the Restless: In Chance, We trust

Alan Laurent, played by Christopher Cousins, is playing a dangerous game on The Young and the Restless. The kidnapping storyline as depicted by scenes of Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), became tedious to watch, with the dialogue between the two being hard to watch. Now, the fun really begins, and I’m excited to watch how this plays out. I have always enjoyed the mystery aspect and cat-and-mouse game between the sleuths and the villain, and this is no different. With Sharon and Phyllis rescued and now recovering with their respective families (I know healthcare is a touchy subject, but shouldn't they be in a hospital under observation for dehydration, shock, and the minor point of poisoning?) We can now focus on bringing Alan ( or Martin, also played by Christopher Cousins) to justice.
How long Can Alan Play Stay-Away With The Police?

Our best bet is for Traci (Beth Maitland) to drop what she knows (About Alan and his phone hacking and mystery messages) into conversation with Chance. I’m sure he will connect the dots, but in the episode airing on March 19th, 2025, Traci told Jack (Peter Bergman), Diane (Susan Walters), and Kyle (Michael Mealor) about Alan and how he wanted to surprise Traci in Paris. This all happened at their favorite venue, The GCAC. Jack was hesitant as Traci wanted to borrow the private jet, but soon the conversation turned to Alan, who had to run off due to “security issues.” When Traci began to elaborate on this, she told of the security breaches and messages and then mentioned “a clinic.” Kyle said that was a coincidence, as Summer (Alison Lanier) had talked about Sharon and Phyllis being held at some clinic. Wasn’t it just? I was surprised by how quickly that notion was dismissed, as was Alan's connection to it all.
Alan needs to hide his tracks and fast, but is it Alan? Or his thought-to-be-dead evil twin brother, Martin, the culprit. Alan’s motivation could be a study in human behavior, or he’s as sick of the hate relationship between Sharon and Phyllis as we are and is just doing his best to snap them out of it and to hell with its legality. It is, after all, The Young and the Restless and not a True Crime TV series. I hope for episodes where Alan/Martin is always staying just one step ahead of Chance and the Police (Not a struggle, is it?). We, the viewers, need to be on the edge of our seats watching Alan take out threats to his plan while attempting to avoid suspicion and cast doubt elsewhere, but will that mean Traci? And what of their wedding? We may just get it if we all wish for some crime drama!
