On The Young and the Restless, Christel Khalil plays Lily Winters, but behind the scenes, the actress remains somewhat low-key. She did a Fast Five! today to give fans a little glimpse into who she is.
Christel Khalil of The Young and the Restless

On the set of The Young and the Restless’ Genoa City Athletic Club entrance, Christel Khalil was game today to answer some questions about herself to be shared with fans.
The first question she was asked was what day of the week is her favorite. It seems that was an easy answer. Khalil shared that she liked Fridays, because she knew she had Saturday and Sunday to look forward to, she said with a sly smile.
The next question wasn’t as easy to choose, so she made it a tie. “[What is] my favorite movie of all time? Ooh…that would be between Interstellar and Vanilla Sky,” Khalil said. For those who haven’t seen the movies, Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain, who have to find a new planet when Earth becomes inhabitable. Vanilla Sky stars Tom Cruise, Penélope Cruz, and Cameron Diaz and is about a vain publisher who gets into a car accident and his life changes.
As for Khalil’s favorite pizza topping, she shared that she prefers sausage and onions. She had a good chuckle when she said it out loud, but it sounded pretty good to us!
Interestingly, Khalil was asked what her dream vacation destination would be. She suggested that it would be an African safari.
The last question that Khalil was asked was what she likes to do on her days off. “What I like to do in my spare time is work out and go out to eat, and hang with my two boys,” she smiled happily.

Lily on The Young and the Restless

Lily Winters has been a force to be reckoned with lately on The Young and the Restless. Adamant that she distrusts her cousin Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) newly found half-brother, Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers), she’s been trying to find information to back up her gut instincts. Lily recently turned to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to help with background searches, and it’s turned up more than she bargained. Now Nate, Damian, and other friends and family are questioning her motives and who is telling the truth.
Luckily, her brother Devon (Bryton James) has her back, and they are a united front. But Lily might have bitten off more than she can chew. Not only is she digging into a situation she might regret uncovering, but involving Victor is always a double-edged sword.
Is Victor already too involved? And is Lily the catalyst to finding out who the real Aristotle Dumas is that Damian works for? The Count of Monte Cristo (or Genoa City) might have more interest in Lily than she currently realizes. Maybe they should have a clue about Dumas called Pandora’s Box.
You can watch Christel Khalil on The Young and the Restless weekdays on CBS or stream on Paramount Plus.
