Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless
It’s been the question on every viewer’s mind, and now the residents of Genoa City are getting in on the conversation: Who is Aristotle Dumas? It’s like a giant, corporate-version game of Clue going on. While Lily’s been stomping all over town, still incessantly irritated at everyone, she managed to overhear Phylis and Billy talking about Dumas. Then she went to the jazz club and had yet another conversation with Damian about his boss, but she still never got any answers. Meanwhile, on today’s episode, Victor and Michael compared notes and gave their own theories of who the mysterious business tycoon could be. And they deduced what many fans have: Tucker McCall. Their reasoning was, well…reasonable. Tucker has had a past with Chancellor and Winters, he’s Devon’s father, Ashley’s ex-husband, and the former boyfriend of Audra. Michael also pointed out that coming and going is Tucker’s trait. Also, Tucker used to own Glissade, and since Victor snatched it from Audra, he might want a little revenge on that. Knowing what he did to Billy and Lily could be motivation to get back Chancellor and give to Billy as well. It’s not an unreasonable theory by any stretch. Let’s face it, just knowing that Aristotle has been up against Victor in acquisitions over the past few years and beaten him before disappearing into the shadows again certainly makes Tucker a strong contender. But whoever Aristotle is, their day of reveal is coming soon.
