Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

On The Young and the Restless, Holden looked low-key, sitting at the GCAC bar, and minding his own business, but he managed to send a message of who he really is, loud and clear. First with Nate, he casually dropped the bomb that not only did he and Audra have more of a relationship than just a few dates (duh!), but she was the one who got away. That’s a bit of a leap from what she told Nate, though it was hard to say if Nate was just playing it cool or genuinely tuning Holden out. Regardless, Nate managed to put him in his place without having to have a throwdown, but triumphed taking Audra’s call so he could repeat her words out loud and let his wannabe competition know she was still into him. Holden wasn’t done, though; he mused fondly of his time with Nate’s girlfriend, and when Nate told him the subject of Audra was taboo effective immediately, Holden quickly mentioned her one more time before Nate could leave. Devon then took Nate’s place, and Holden casually suggested that Damian could be after Devon’s sister. The look of horror on Devon’s face wasn’t lost on Holden, no matter what words were coming out of his mouth. Once he wasn’t distracted by manipulative conversations, Holden had a little flashback to Audra telling him she wasn’t interested, but seemed pleased that she had memories of him and validated how well they knew one another. She had told Holden that he was someone who could take advantage of situations. I think we’re just scratching the surface with this guy, and although he came in as the nice one next to Damian who appeared consistently hostile, maybe we’ve got a new bad boy starting to emerge in Genoa City.
