The Daily Y.A.P.P. for The Young and the Restless, April 11: Audra stuns Sally and teams up with Victor

Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Audra decided to go against everything rational in her life and team up with Victor to break up Claire and Kyle. Knowing it’s a bad, bad idea already, she ran it by her BFF Sally for no other reason, apparently, than to hear how it sounded when she said it out loud. Audra wasn’t really interested in the sage advice that Sally tried to give her, not to mention all of Sally’s reminders of how horribly wrong it would inevitably go, but Audra had her mind made up. She had to have come into the conversation already knowing she was going to accept Victor’s offer because it wasn’t anything Sally said that could have convinced her. Saying that she had no other option was a stretch. She could have had a job at Winters — and that didn’t mean she would have had to cross paths with Nate all day long (it’s not like he’s at the office often anyway). Or she could have gotten in on the ground floor with Billy’s new company. She probably would have been safer going to Adam than Victor if she wanted to work at a Newman division. But what she really should have done if she wanted to play with fire was ask Holden and Damian for a job. At least then she’d have been closer to Aristotle Dumas…if she isn’t already.
