On The Young and the Restless, Aunt Jordan Howard has instilled a level of fear in the Newmans that they didn’t know they’d be subjected to again. Nerves were already rattled when they realized archnemesis Ian Ward was in town, but now, some of them know Jordan is around as well.

While some are looking for Ian’s accomplice, and others are trying to stop Jordan before she does something, none realize the two targets are the same person — or how much damage she’s already done.

Chasing the unknown on The Young and the Restless

Jordan (Colleen Zenk) has been sneaking around Genoa City for months in various disguises, destroying lives without anyone knowing. After arguing with her accomplice and boyfriend, she decided he wasn’t doing enough evil for her and ditched him.

When she went to Crimson Lights and ordered an oolong tea with agave and a double half-an-half, Jordan knew her aunt had somehow resurfaced, even though the prison was convinced she was still locked up. So when Claire (Hayley Erin) followed Jordan to the park and confronted her, it all clicked: Jordan had to die. And what more perfect of an opportunity than when no one knew they’d miss her?

However, little do Claire, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) know that they’re not the only ones aware of Jordan’s presence. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chance (Connor Floyd) know that someone kidnapped Sharon (Sharon Case), but they can’t recognize who they are in the security footage. They do think the person is Ian’s accomplice, and they know they need to find the person to lead them to Sharon.

Then there’s Victor (Eric Braeden). Victor firmly believes that Ian was behind Sharon’s disappearance and believes he wasn’t working alone. If he was to find out that Jordan was in town, he’d quickly put it together that Ian’s accomplice and Aunt Jordan are the same person.

Who’ll find Jordan first on The Young and the Restless?

Victor knew something was up when he came home and found Nikki, Victoria, and Claire conspiring. He is well aware that they came close to letting Jordan die the last time they had the chance to do so — until he took matters into his own hands and caged her up himself. But that didn’t work out too well, and now Jordan is back out on the streets, harming his family.

While Victor could see the reasoning for his wife, daughter, and granddaughter wanting to get rid of Jordan for good, he wouldn’t let them do something so drastic if he could. Victor wants Ian and Jordan both scrubbed from the earth, but he wouldn’t want the family he’s trying to protect to be put in prison for it.

Thanks to his eavesdropping, Victor knows that no one knows Jordan’s out of prison. He could just end things for her himself this time — no need to keep her alive in a cage. But if Victor thinks Jordan is Ian’s accomplice, then she’s the key to finding Sharon, and has the answers as to what happened to Heather, too.

Chance told Nick he would get lists of prisoners that Ian was seeing as a chaplain, but they were looking at the ones who had been recently released. Since Jordan traded places with someone who is sitting in her cell, she might not be on the list. But they know where Ian’s motel room is, and a search will turn up a clue that his sidekick is a woman. It’s still not a woman with a name, though. Will Nick ever realize that the woman in the video is Jordan?

They’re all closing in on Jordan. If Nikki, Claire, and Victoria don’t kill her first, and Victor doesn’t intervene, Jordan might lead Nick and Chance to Sharon. But let’s not rule out Ian. if he’s backed into a corner, the only way out could be throwing Jordan to the wolves.
