As Phyllis recounted her experience at the Athletic Club, she told Nick that Sharon was out of control. Nick wearily told Phyllis that they were trying to sort it out, and he suggested that Phyllis getting into it with Sharon wasn’t helping. Phyllis made it clear that Sharon was full of hate and seemed dangerous. “It was scary, and I don’t scare easily,” Phyllis said. She told Nick that she needed to protect her family—and if Nick didn’t do something about Sharon, she would.

Daniel installed a tracker on Lucy’s phone but discovered she had set it to airplane mode. He scolded Lucy about it before leaving. The moment Daniel was out of the apartment, Lucy called Faith and asked her to come over. Lucy promised that if they could talk, it would be the last favor she would ever ask of Faith.

Faith went to the apartment, and Lucy whined to her that they weren’t allowed to have contact. Faith thought it was for the best and suggested that Lucy honor her punishment. Lucy freaked out about having no social life and blamed Sharon. Lucy said Sharon was obsessing and needed to let it go. Lucy was stunned when Faith told her that it was Lucy who needed to detach.

Faith reiterated everything that had happened and told Lucy that the choices Lucy made right then could affect the rest of her life. Lucy was in disbelief that Faith truly disapproved of her drinking and lying, and she accused Faith of being influenced by Sharon. Faith told Lucy nicely to find friends her own age, to make good choices, and to stay out of her parents' liquor cabinet.

Mariah went to Sharon’s house and tried to search for Sharon's medication, but Sharon arrived at home. Mariah said she was there to pick up a necklace she had forgotten. After Sharon went to the kitchen, Mariah searched Sharon’s purse but only found ibuprofen. Mariah managed to look upstairs, and when Sharon returned, Mariah left so Sharon could have a nap. Sharon lay down on the couch, and Cameron tucked her in. He told her that she was "so close" to the closure that would end the pain, and it would be the beginning of the life that she deserved, the one that she should have never lost.

At the Athletic Club, Phyllis told Summer about her run-in with Sharon. Daniel joined them, and they talked about Sharon and how she'd gone off on Lucy. Daniel told Phyllis that he, Heather, and Lucy needed to figure out what to do and that Phyllis needed to “sit this one out.” After Daniel left, Phyllis told Summer that Daniel had a lot going on in his life, so he couldn’t see Sharon as clearly as Phyllis did.

Faith met Nick at Crimson Lights and brought him up to date about talking to Lucy. They agreed they were both worried about Sharon’s public outbursts. Mariah joined them and said she'd found Sharon’s medication. Mariah said she'd checked the prescription refill date and counted pills, and it appeared that Sharon was taking her medication properly.

Sharon napped on the couch and awoke to Nick kissing her. He told her that she looked so peaceful and pretty that he couldn’t help himself. Cassie entered, and the happy family talked about their perfect life. Cassie reminded her mom that they were going to a concert at the Daniel Romalotti Memorial Pavillion. They recounted how tragedy had struck one night when Daniel had drunk too much and crashed his car. “I almost went to that party,” Cassie remembered.

Sharon awoke and realized it had been a dream. Cameron was there and told her that she'd had everything she'd ever wanted until Daniel Romalotti had taken it from her. Cameron said Sharon knew what to do. Sharon said aloud that Daniel should have died in that car accident.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
