Move over, New York City, London, and Singapore. The Young and the Restless' Genoa City is now the hot spot for business! There are quite a few global power players who call GC home, and one more is about to her hang her hat -- or possibly stilettos? -- in the small Wisconsin town.
The CBS soap opera has cast actress Zuleyka Silver in the new role of Audra Charles, a high-powered executive who's lured to Genoa City by one of the town's business icons. Y&R has yet to release any further storyline details, but fans can look forward to watching Audra in action beginning Friday, September 23.
Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Silver got her start in the acting business playing small roles in series like 90210, CSI, and The Bold and the Beautiful (where she played a model in 2013). She went on to establish a good relationship with CBS, having appeared in series such as Young Sheldon, Hawaii 5-0, Code Black, and The Mentalist. She also had the recurring role of Mrs. Guillermo in comedy segments on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
