Jensen Buchanan arrested for DUI after crash that left another driver with major injuries

Daytime alum Jensen Buchanan, who most recently appeared as The Young and the Restless' Judge Elise Moxley, has been arrested following an alleged DUI crash that left the other driver with serious injuries.

Soap opera alum Jensen Buchanan (ex-Elise Moxley, The Young and the Restless; ex-Marley McKinnon, Another World/As the World Turns; ex-Sarah Gordon, One Life to Live) was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence on Wednesday, following a car crash that left the driver of another car seriously injured.

Officials say the 53-year-old Buchanan was driving her black 2016 Mercedes east on State Route 154 in Buelton (near Santa Barbara) early Wednesday morning when her vehicle reportedly drifted across a double yellow line and slammed into a white 2014 Ford C-Max headed west.

The California Highway Patrol reports that Buchanan's injuries were minor, but the driver of the other car, 56-year-old Bradley Asolas of Camarillo, suffered "major injuries." Both were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.

Buchanan was booked on charges of "driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs with injury or death" and driving under the influence of .08 alcohol causing bodily injury. She is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
