CBS Daytime's number one soap, The Young and the Restless, is beginning the new year with an exciting behind-the-scenes change: well-known British producer Mal Young has joined the show.
The Young and the Restless has started 2016 off with a bang by hiring famed British producer Mal Young to join its behind-the-scenes team.
Known for his work on EastEnders, the high-profile producer took to Twitter with a message that confirms he's working on daytime's number one soap opera. "End of week one and loving my new @YandR_CBS family."
In addition to EastEnders, Young has produced the European soap opera Brookeside and served as co-creator to And the Beat Goes On and the BBC's Doctors.
