The Young and the Restless' Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) is now a newlywed. The Emmy-nominated actress walked down the aisle on July 26, wearing a beautiful BCBGMaxazria gown.
"Best. Day. Ever," Egan shared on Twitter along with a photo of the ceremony and her now-husband, Matt Katrosor.
Egan and Katrosor were engaged in February 2013.
Egan's former All My Children costar Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery) also took to Twitter to offer a unique congratulatory message to Egan.
"@MClaireEgan it was soooo beautiful. Love seeing how happy you both are:) As your first and worst tv husband, glad you got it right," Mathison commented.
Added Egan's best friend, Chrishell Stause (Jordan Ridgeway, Days of our Lives; ex-Amanda Dillon, AMC), "Best wedding of my life! You are glowing-LOVE you!!! CONGRATS! (Gonna go recover!)"
Egan joined The Young and the Restless in November 2011 after a lengthy run on All My Children as Annie Chandler. For her work on Y&R, Egan has received two consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category. She received three additional nominations during her tenure on AMC.
