On The Young and the Restless, Zuleyka Silver has shown viewers that her character, Audra Silver, is a force to be reckoned with many times over. But as we’ve gotten to know Audra better over the years, we may have forgotten who she is at her core. Luckily, she’s about to remind us.
Zuleyka Silver on The Young and the Restless

Zuleyka Silver brings Audra Charles to life on The Young and the Restless, with stunning beauty and grace that make some men crumble, and a fierce, stubborn determination that make others watch in awe. While most would say they would value her place in the boardroom, it’s only if she’s on their side. The problem is, she is loyal to only one.
Silver originated the role in 2022, and over the years has given us a fair bit of the ambitious version of Audra, who will let no one and nothing stand her way of what she deems as success. She also softened her character lately, showing a more vulnerable side we didn’t know existed. Silver explained the change to Woman’s World, stating, “I am loving the fact that she is evolving and we’ve chipped away at some of her walls because that woman is guarded!”
However, like her character, Silver is wary of letting Audra’s guard down too much. “Whenever I feel like she does something that’s a little too nice, I’m like, ‘Let’s not forget who Audra is at her core!’ She is scheming, and I love that about her. It’s so fun to play someone that has this ulterior motive or is using people to her advantage, because it’s so far from who I am,” Silver added.

Audra isn’t always all about herself. She and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have a tight friendship, and she has extended herself without being asked several times for her buddy — something the fans appreciate and want to see more of.
“Once again I really enjoyed Audra and Sally’s talk today…truly like two girlfriends talking about a guy,” said message board commenter, Lila.
Silver appreciates her character’s self-confidence. “She just takes risks, and she’s not really scared of anyone,” Silver noted. Although Audra has put herself in a predicament this week by teaming up with Victor (Eric Braeden) to take down Kyle (Michael Mealor), Silver appreciates her audacity, and wouldn’t mind applying it to herself.
“Audra has taught me to just go for it, take up space, and be unafraid. I’ve channeled that into my life. Not everything about her! But I’m definitely trying to incorporate more of that confidence,” Silver admitted.
