VIDEO PREVIEW: The Young and the Restless look ahead for the week of March 24th to 28th

What to expect on The Young and the Restless

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) may be head over heels in love, but our favorite smarty pants is no fool in love. This week, Traci surprised Jack (Peter Bergman) with the news that she was engaged, but mere days later, the glow is gone from Traci’s face.

Traci was already suspicious of Alan’s (Christopher Cousins) overreaction to her looking at his phone notification, but it didn’t take long for her wheels to start spinning. Jack is shocked next week when Traci comes to him at Crimson Lights in distress about Alan. “I am not sure he is who he says he is!” she shares.

A past history revealed

Victor (Eric Braeden) had given Michael (Christian LeBlanc) a project: to look into the mysterious businessman Aristotle Dumas. Since Lily (Christel Khalil) had asked Victor for his help to do a background search on Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers), Victor had some questions of his own and continued to sniff around. What he found was that Damian didn’t own the companies he claimed, Monte Cristo Investments and Danglars Properties, both seemingly named after key info in the book The Count of Monte Cristo. Victor’s interest was piqued when he found that the real owner of both was Aristotle Dumas, but now it seems he had some information of his own.

At the Athletic Club next week, Victor meets with Michael, and what he tells him causes Michael to note, “That makes it sound like you and Dumas have a history I don’t know about.” Victor admits that they do.

A friend in need

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has gone through hell, and Billy (Jason Thompson) knows it. When he helped save her and Sharon from being locked in the asylum, little did he know at the time that he was saving her life at a critical moment. Although Phyllis has been putting up a brave face around her kids, she’s breaking down.

Next week, Phyllis and Billy talk in the park. She doesn’t want her kids to see her so upset, and Billy wants to help. Phyllis tells him she has an idea how he can.
