What to expect on The Young and the Restless

While we left off last week with Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) drinking what she hoped was poisoned tea, she also assumed that Claire (Hayley Erin) would save her. Claire didn’t, and so we’re left to believe that Jordan really died on the couch, the Newman security team discreetly disposed of her, and she will never be seen or heard from again.

Except…this IS Jordan we’re talking about. While arrangements are being made to have the company they never wanted disposed of, the Newmans try to normalize murder in their presence yet again. Will this be the time that Chance is a stickler for details?

Victor needs to tell something to the police, but he needs some facts from his wife, daughter, and granddaughter. When he arrived at the tack house, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Claire were well into carrying out their murderous plot. Victor wants some answers, and he wants them now. But Victoria tries telling him, “Jordan’s gone. Isn’t that all anyone needs to know?” Victor leans in towards his daughter and bellows, “Trust me…this isn’t over!” Claire might not have been on the receiving end of this side of Victor before, and she just got through the trauma of helping her aunt die. How will she react?

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the ranch, Nick returns to Sharon’s house. Sharon is talking to Mariah, who is very upset and holding one of Aria’s stuffed animals. Nick asks, “Are you sure Tessa and Aria are missing?” Frantic, Mariah explains, “They weren’t upstairs when I got home, and I can’t find them anywhere. Tessa isn’t answering her phone.”

Fast forward to later in the week, and it looks like something has triggered Ian to amp up his presence. Was it losing his partner in crime that did him in? Does he know that Mariah is aware he was teamed up with Jordan?

Nick, Victor, and Michael are in the living room when Ian, with a gun pointed at them and grinning maniacally, calls up the stairs, “Nikki! It’s Ian! Come on down!” He turns to the men in the living room, and moves towards them as he calls out to her again, “I don’t want you to miss a moment of what’s going to happen to your family!”
