In an interview with Woman’s World, Bregman explained that she was out for dinner with some friends when she had an idea. While at the Polo Lounge with author Christine Avanti-Fischer (Skinny Chicks Don’t Eat Salads), actress Dyan Cannon, and TV host, author, and actress Kym Douglas.
During the dinner, the friends were talking when Tracey was struck with an idea for a podcast. “We were just talking about life and love and struggles, and all of a sudden, I said, ‘God’s table!’ Everybody looked at me weird, but then we all went, ‘Yes, we need to do this.’”
The group has already recorded three episodes of their God’s Table podcast, which Bregman describes as being about infusing faith into their lives. “It’s about real-life things that are happening and have happened to us, and how our faith has gotten us through,” she explained.
Bregman says her faith is more spiritual than religious. “I’ve had a very strong connection with God, who I speak to, and I think I would be very, very fearful if I felt there wasn’t a higher power. I call him ‘God,’ but whatever you believe in, I believe that your faith and belief can get you through almost anything,” she shared.
Fans of The Young and the Restless may recognize Kym Douglas and her ties to the show. Kym was married to Jerry Douglas from 1985 until his death in 2021.
