What to expect on The Young and the Restless
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) has been to hell and back. He lost the love of his life, he had to separate from his grieving daughter to protect her, and before he could even begin to process his losses, he was arrested for a crime that he didn’t commit.

Everyone who knows Daniel knows that he wasn’t capable of what he was being accused of, but someone framed him. That person ruined his life. That person was Sharon (Sharon Case).
Now, all Daniel can do is sit with his mother, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who is unconscious and in critical condition in the hospital after being run off the road and crashing. Sharon also thinks she is the one responsible for Phyllis’ accident.
All Daniel knows for sure is that his mother tried to warn everyone, but no one would listen. She knew that Sharon was the one framing Daniel, and everyone, including Daniel, mocked her for her theory and now look at her. She’s fighting for her life in the hospital, not even awake to be vindicated.
Daniel knows that everything Phyllis suspected about Sharon was true, and not only did she take Heather from him, but Sharon tried to kill Phyllis, as well.
Daniel wants answers and justice for Phyllis. On Wednesday, Daniel confronts Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon. Will their responses help Daniel, or will they just make him more upset?
Michael’s legal strategy for defending Sharon
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has come up with a defense strategy to help Sharon’s legal issues. As Phyllis’ best friend, this could be a sticky situation, but Michael was asked by Nick to help.
Nick is convinced that Sharon acted out of character because of her meds, but would that defense hold up in court? Sharon was definitely out of sorts for weeks, but there were so many crimes she committed while lucid, as well as the cover up continuing once she was back on the right medications. What she did to Daniel and Lucy after Heather died is going to be a huge hurdle to overcome for Sharon to gain sympathy in court.
Michael’s friend and colleague was just in a similar position, trying to find a strategy to defend her client for murdering Heather. However, she knew that her client was not guilty. On Wednesday, Michael debates Sharon’s innocence with Christine (Lauralee Bell).
