To celebrate the achievement, fans have been treated to memorable moments via flashbacks and storytelling amongst characters. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) not only celebrates her birthday, but she plans the day to marry the man of her dreams, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
On Wednesday, family and friends of Abby and Devon come to the surprise venue to witness the wedding ceremony. The festivities are held at the Newman ranch, where Victor (Eric Braeden) recently rebuilt the original ranch house. It was a nostalgic episode when Victor surprised Nikki, but behind the scenes, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) were also shocked (and moved to tears) by the show when they were surprised with their “new” set.
Shocking twists on Y&R’s 13,000th episode
Viewers can expect the perfect wedding, just like Abby planned, but what else is happening around the happy couple will be as historic as the episode number.
Fans will recognize guests that they haven’t seen in quite some time, including Jill Abbot (Jess Walton). Instead of notifying her son that she’s back in town, Jill avoids him and meets with Victor instead. Victor makes Jill an offer — and it’s one she can’t refuse.
How will Lily and Billy react when they know that Jill met with Victor and ignored their peacemaking?
Kyle and Jack nearly undo the progress they have made when Kyle overhears Jack talking. But will Claire’s involvement help? Watch for Jack’s reaction when he realizes that Claire and Kyle are an item.
Phyllis is tricked
After getting caught rummaging in Phyllis’ room, Sharon (Sharon Case) needs to get Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) out of her way. Sharon is so distracted by thoughts of Phyllis that she turns down Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) offer to be his plus one at the wedding.
Sharon drives home but is distressed by thoughts of Phyllis (and how to get her off her case!). The bright headlights behind her are distracting.

Meanwhile, Phyllis receives an ominous text. Is it really from Sharon or is someone tricking her despite their claims not to be? Regardless of who it really is, Phyllis hits the road — and gets hit back.
