What to expect on The Young and the Restless
Now that Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Diane (Susan Walters) have worked out some of their issues, Jack (Peter Bergman) is wondering where things stand for him and his son. Diane wants them all to move forward, and there is nothing Jack wants more, but he isn’t sure that he and Kyle are on the same page.

Diane thinks she knows the solution, but will Jack agree? Someone needs to make the first move, but Jack and Kyle are both stubborn — and afraid of getting hurt by rejection from each other.
On Wednesday, Jack has a proposal for Diane. He has an idea for the next steps for her career, but is it a direction Diane wants to go?
Summer wants answers
Summer (Allison Lanier) clearly has some big feelings about seeing Kyle and Claire (Hayley Erin) grow closer. Although she’s assured Claire that she doesn’t care, Claire isn’t so sure that Summer isn’t hiding her true feelings.
When Summer spots Kyle and Claire on a date, she demands some answers. Does Kyle tell her what she wants to hear? If she knew they had gotten intimate, how would Summer react?
On Wednesday, Summer interrogates Kyle about the status of his relationship with Claire.
Sharon’s dilemma
Sharon (Sharon Case) desperately wants to change her plea with the judge to guilty and get on with her sentencing. She isn’t up to the challenge of uncertainty and the ups and downs of a trial, but Nick (Joshua Morrow) wants her to hold off because he wants to see what happens when Chance (Conner Floyd) investigates her medication.
What if it was tainted or a bad batch? Could that get her off of her charges? Michael (Christian LeBlanc) agrees with Nick, but Sharon is adamant.
On Wednesday, Michael counsels Sharon with a tough decision. Will she give Nick and Michael more time or push for her plea to be changed?

Meanwhile, Faith (Reylynn Caster) is upset by her conversation with Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Faith has some questions for her mom, but when she sees her parents at Crimson Lights, she has something to tell Sharon. How will Sharon react when she hears how Faith really feels?
