After months of plotting and scheming, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) ended up having Chancellor Industries handed to them. Well, given to them in exchange for an exorbitant amount of money.

Nonetheless, Nikki has been dreaming of the day she would be named CEO of the international conglomerate. But Nikki’s experience pales in comparison to some of the other contenders. She has been CEO of Jabot and Newman Media, but Chancellor is a major company with many subsidiaries.
In Nikki’s head, she would have had Lily’s assistance, but that was thrown out the window when Lily (Christel Khalil) realized she was being used for a takeover, and the top dog position would never be hers.
Nikki had full intentions of running the corporation to preserve the legacy of her dear friend, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper).
Now that the word is out and Nikki is in, it’s time for her to assume her role and lead the company to new heights. On Tuesday, Nikki embraces her role as CEO of Chancellor. Is it everything she dreamed of?
Family matters
One man’s gain is another’s misfortune, and as far as Billy (Jason Thompson) is concerned, he’s lost more than just his title.
His mother, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), stripped him of his role in a humiliating fashion when she told him she lacked confidence in him. Meanwhile, she’d already decided to sell the company to Billy’s archnemesis, Victor Newman.
Billy was dumbfounded that his mom had given him ultimatums and deadlines, but she didn’t follow through on her end. Yet, for some reason, Billy is the one who is being described as unreliable and untrustworthy.
Billy is tired of the people around him and should always have his back, being the first to knock him down.
On Tuesday, Billy loses his cool with Jill.
Time for reparations
Jack and Diane went to extreme lengths to try to prove to their son, Kyle, that he couldn’t trust Victor Newman.
Now that Kyle has been taken down a few notches and publicly humiliated, Jack wants to rebuild their relationship. Kyle was starting to come around before the revelation, which made Jack happy, but Diane was left out in the cold.
Diane now wants to sacrifice her career to give her position as co-CEO at Jabot to Kyle to make amends and bring him back to the family business. But Jack wasn’t in such a rush. He wants to truly fix things between them and Kyle so the problems don’t repeat themselves.
On Tuesday, Jack works to repair his relationship with Kyle, but is it too late? Has too much damage been done?
