Abby (Melissa Ordway) timed the wedding of her dreams to perfectly coincide with her birthday and her mother, Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) homecoming from Paris (it also lines up with Y&R’s 13,000th episode, but more on that tomorrow).

Now that Ashley is out of treatment and back in Genoa City, she and Abby can spend some quality time together. The night before her wedding, Abby and Ashley have a girls' night, and Devon (Bryton James) gives Ashley a special gift. Abby feels like she’s having her cake and eating it, too!
Katherine’s legacy
Jill (Jess Walton) is also back in town, and the first thing on her agenda is to visit Victor (Eric Braeden). At Victor’s office, Jill tells Victor that she is well aware of Billy’s (Jason Thompson) abilities and shortcomings but relies on Lily to ensure the company’s success.
Victor and Jill go way back, and she knows he is relentless — and ruthless — until he gets what he wants. But Jill can be stubborn, too. Victor doesn’t want Lily (Christel Khalil) at Chancellor; he wants her back at Winters. Does Victor know what’s best for Lily or is he keeping her out of the way for other reasons?
Jill gave Billy a deadline. She warned her son that she would be back for the wedding and that, by then, he needed to have Lily reinstated as co-CEO. However, Lily keeps Billy on his toes on Tuesday, and she isn’t just playing hard to get.
Meanwhile, Victor and Jill settle unfinished business. Will Victor put Jill in a predicament, or will he make her an offer she can’t refuse?
Phyllis still has a plan
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) may not be able to convince many people that Sharon framed Daniel (Michael Graziadei), but she’s not giving up on her theory.
Phyllis knows she has scared Sharon (Sharon Case) and is close to getting her to confess. But Sharon’s got Cameron advising her to get rid of Phyllis.
