Nick (Joshua Morrow) was none too happy when he overheard Victor (Eric Braeden) suggesting to Summer (Allison Lanier) that she reunite with Kyle (Michael Mealor). Nick didn’t want to see his daughter get hurt in that relationship, but she was. And when their marriage ended, she didn’t want it to but Kyle had moved on — abruptly and coldly. Still, Nick had gone to him and tried to see if it could work, but the marriage was over.

It’s been a long time since Kyle and Summer split, and they had a nasty divorce with a bitter custody battle. It’s only been recently that they started getting along. But both of them had moved on with other people. Kyle, in particular, is now in a relationship with Victor’s other granddaughter, Claire (Hayley Erin).

So what is Victor up to? Is he trying to cause issues between Summer and Claire? If Kyle isn’t good enough for Claire, why is he encouraging Summer? On Tuesday, Victor has to defend his actions.

On Tuesday, Nate (Sean Dominic) finally meets the real Damian (Jermaine Rivers), but he’s not too pleased to meet him. Now that he’s finally face-to-face with his brother, he has to keep his promise and tell him the truth. It’s a lot to handle, for sure, but Damian doesn’t take the news too well.

Damian is angry and feeling all sorts of mistrust. Amy (Valarie Pettiford) is worried that Damian will walk back out the door and hate her forever. Nate tries to keep heads cool and the dialogue open, but it’s easier said than done. On Tuesday, Nate struggles to reunite Amy and Damian. Will he be successful? Or is there just too much for everyone to deal with?

Diane (Susan Walters) had gone to Jack (Peter Bergman) and asked if she could give their mansion a refresh. He balked, claiming that every dent and scratch in each piece of furniture or item was a memory to him that he didn’t want to be disturbed. Diane just wanted to update the look a little and also have it feel like her home, too. The best Jack could offer was to consider it, but he wanted to check with his sisters for their opinions as well.

However, Diane ran the idea by Traci (Beth Maitland), who wasn’t against it. On Tuesday, Diane takes matters into her own hands. She means well, but will it upset Jack? And will she do anything that can’t be undone?
