Daniel (Michael Graziadei) took a chance, but he might be out of luck. He thought letting Chance (Conner Floyd) search the apartment was a bad idea, but only because he thought it violated Heather’s (Vail Bloom) privacy and would upset Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Brien).

Now, it turns out, he jeopardized himself. It didn’t take long in Chance’s search to discover some damning evidence: Heather’s phone and bloody towels. Chance might not have looked in the liquor cabinet that day had the phone not started ringing, but once it did, there was no turning back.

Chance doesn’t seem to believe anything Daniel said, and he kicked Daniel and Lucy out of their apartment, as it is now considered a crime scene.

When Daniel confirms to Summer (Allison Lanier) that it doesn’t look good for Daniel, she is shocked. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) knows firsthand how relentless Chance can be when he sniffs a clue, but she also believes in Daniel’s innocence. She decides the family needs to team together to find out the truth about Heather’s death because Chance is hot on a pursuit but looking in the wrong direction.

Adam (Mark Grossman) nailed it when he told Victor (Eric Braeden) that he was a fatherly figure to Kyle (Michael Mealor) just to stick it to Jack (Peter Bergman). Adam knows what a double-edged sword it is with Victor when he mixes business with personal.

Victor gave Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle a challenge to see who could please him and be rewarded with control of Glissade. Kyle threw his parents and his family’s iconic company under the bus to show Victor he could rise to the challenge.

Victor was impressed with Kyle and fired Audra, but now it’s time for Kyle to follow through. Kyle has to hand over the formula that he stole from Diane’s (Susan Walter) laptop so that Newman Enterprises can beat Jabot’s production schedule to the market.

But was the formula all the information that Victor needed to proceed? On Thursday, Kyle makes a dangerous deal with Victor.

Jack and Diane have been out of sync, and everyone is starting to see it. Victor is relishing the fact that the couple’s relationship seems to be strained.

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) is Diane's friend; he has let her confide in him about her relationship with Jack. But what Diane doesn’t know is that Victor also confided in Michael — and told him that he wants to break up Jack and Diane’s marriage as part of destroying the Abbotts.

Kyle laid a guilt trip on his dad about siding with his mom. Will Jack defend Kyle to Diane after Kyle stole from Jabot? And will yet another public argument drive the wedge between Jack and his wife too far?
